POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
(REPOST) Kiarra and I dive into having two perspectives on how our moms treated us as children, introduced us to what “being a woman” was about, how matriarchal societies should be the norm, and embracing our divine feminine power in today’s society despite the challenges
To every child out there who had a present mother or not, I send my love to you on this day because not everyone experiences the same Mothers Day each year. Sometimes it brings pain, joy, sadness, anger, or disappointment. Regardless each of our stories are valid and deserve to be heard, and I give you all nurturing love, warmth, and send blessings and peace y’all’s way.
Celebrate this day for you! I love you

I corrected myself at the end but I wanna dive a little more into that. It starts as curiosity and passion for knowledge. Information. But passion is patient and focused. Vigilant. As soon as that sense of urgency, desperation, and neglect (your other obligations) comes into play is when you’ve reached obsession. Ive been beginning to notice when I’ve fallen prey to my own insatiable need for knowledge whether it’s people, places, or things. That lust for life is crazy.

We’re at the scene of the crime! Especially with information being at our finger tips so easily accessible all the time. But understand sometimes you’re not ready for big fires. So fight the little fires and we’ll get there. We’ll get the veil back up but protect yourself first babes

This is just a new perspective ive thought about lately. I was the train and I was thinking about this show I just started watching called “Alchemy of Souls” and it’s interesting because in the show when a soul shifter leaves their body nothing is left there. It reminded me of when I do. Ive been noticing that I do that a lot and catching myself by pulling out a mirror. That may sound crazy but name one genius that isn’t crazy…okay. Anyways I’ll beg myself not to go because when my soul leaves it’s because fear is pushing it out. This helped me to take others actions a lot less personally because the thought of fear taking residence over a loved ones or anyone’s heart and mind for that matter tells me that they need space. Space to come back to themselves. And I hope they don’t their way back home. I’m getting comfortable in mine :)

This is a big one. I’ve been learning not to allow other peoples expectations, judgements, perceptions of me to become my responsibility- especially if they don’t align with me. I’m starting to realize what other people think of me is simply not my business, but it is very much THEIR business. So they can handle that. In the mean time I’ll bask in my me-ness :) relieved and truly, finally, unbothered

Not me shedding tears on the internet 😳 it was just a really emotional and incredibly pivotal moment for me because understanding healing and true recovery for me looks like being more patient with myself, graceful to myself, and physically affectionate with myself feels surreal. I’m always quick to analyze my thought patterns, chastise myself for my past or present wrongs. But to understand not only do I have the power to end my suffering but SHOW UP for myself- be empathetic to myself. That’s a cheat code fr. Necessary reminder for sure.
