current greats for me are beyonce, frank ocean and kendrick lamar. to feel is one thing but to express is another. it is difficult to verbally express my emotions but in my art, it is ever so easy and i believe that is why these artists (the greats!) move me so much! and why i am aiming to be at that level… so i can reach a vulnerability in my art that i will not let fear consume. #reels #mj #steviewonder

just read the wealth gap is even wider with the top 1% holding just over 30% of wealth in the world ($46.18 trillion) whilst the rest of the world hold 2.5%. no one should be this rich whilst people are dying from living in poverty. they watch us participate in grind culture but that only exists within the working class and in the long run, affects us the most. they watch us shame each other for things we do not have power over but power to the people, this is the only power we have. if we cannot get rid of idolisation, let’s platform the right people.

i was giving artsy ho. omg. aura is 4eva but eras are short lived. winter didn’t let me appreciate it enuf! but the people knew, was approached about 3 times on this bench. women can’t sit.

#poetry another scribble i like in the format of a reel. as a child, i used to lay in bed for almost an hour and listen to the birds. i used to envision where they would be on the tree outside, which branch and how many. there was a period of time i used to get irritated by it and it was not a good time for me. to be irritated by natures call was a sign your soul was stirred. i have come back to waiting for the birds to sing.

the only thing i love about performing and reading is tapping into the state and emotion that you were once in when the poem was written. a release that can be overbearing and fulfilling at the same time. #poetry
