Regenerate Personal Training

This is a snippet of my 84 yr old PT client.

Check her ability, mobility technique and stability!

Deanna frequented my yoga classes a few years back and this year decided she wanted to be stronger so commenced one on one PT sessions.

She is vision impaired and lets nothing in life hold her back.
She travels, plays golf, attends meditation sessions, has a great social life and cares for her husband.

She is an inspiration and I am truly in awe of her dedication, abilities, strength and resilience.

A testimony to the fact it's never to late to start a new life habit!

A beautiful lady and a pleasure to train.

When it comes to group fitness instruction, there are certain qualities that set exceptional coaches apart. Here are five signs of a truly seasoned coach or instructor:

⚡️The ability to change and adapt their class plan in the moment. A class plan is important, but we can’t be rigid about it. What if the group’s ability is different from what you expected? What if your music fails? There are many unknowns in group fitness, and we must be prepared to adapt.

👀The ability to read non-verbal signs of how their class is going. It’s crucial to coach to what you see, focusing on the people right in front of you, and understanding how they’re feeling. Pay attention to facial expressions, posture, breathing, and movement execution.

🫶The ability to make everyone in their class feel safe and seen. Create moments in each class where each individual feels recognised. Use names, check in, and ensure new members have the tools to feel safe in their class execution.

✨The ability to make everyone in their class (regardless of level) feel successful. Success isn’t reserved for the “front row”. Every person should leave your space feeling successful. Provide regressions and progressions to adapt the class to their level, and give them permission to take the class at their own pace.

💜The ability to hold space in an authentic way. Be yourself – a rockstar version of yourself! Give your members a slice of who you are. Don’t try to be a replica of another great instructor; don’t speak words that don’t feel authentic to you. Guide your members through a class experience as your authentic self.

Reposted from @cathavenau Did you know we offer free sterilisation and microchipping for mum cats when the litter is surrendered over to us for rehoming?

We can get up to 7,000 cats a year through the shelter so to get as many cats sterilised and microchipped as possible is one of our goals 🥺

We would have taken these kittens in and gotten mum sterilised so she doesn’t have more kittens. Please reach out if you need help ❤️
