Early morning carving. This is my favorite part- cleaning up the piece. A reunion with ceramics after a year long hiatus. Happy to be back. Surprised by the ability of the body to remember and quickly understand the nurturing clay requires to morph and shape. Feeling like I’ve somehow improved. Win said in the rest I was probably visualizing the creation process. Maybe that’s true. Either way, I’m back and bursting with ideas. Trying to challenge myself to be ok with being seen, showing how the sausage is made. This is my attempt. Should I glaze this big boi?
