Orjwan Team is a volunteer youth group based in Gaza City, working to create safe spaces for adolescent girls aged (14–17), enabling them to express themselves and cope with psychological stress through integrated approaches that combine art, awareness, and psychosocial support, in partnership with local and international organizations. We implement activities that respond to the needs of adolescent girls and create meaningful impact in their lives. Key activities include art therapy and drama sessions that provide a safe and open space for girls to express their issues, experiences, and identity; creative writing sessions that enable them to share their stories and experiences; and interactive activities that support self understanding, personal development, and character building. Abdullah's campaign really needs a boost! The last donation was 3 months ago, and it has been slow -going since it was launched. Can you donate or help share? "My name is Abdullah Jalhoum, I am 17 years old and I'm from the northern Gaza Strip, specifically Jabalia refugee camp. Since the beginning of the war, we've suffered greatly. I was injured in my right hand when I was shot by an IDF soldier while trying to get a sack of flour. Our house was completely destroyed. My older brother pulled us from under the rubble after our neighborhood was bombed. My family consists of seven members, including children. We've been displaced more than ten times, moving from northern Gaza to southern Gaza after our house was bombed. Currently we are in the south of the Gaza Strip in the Al-Zawaida area. Our only shelter is a tent, which recently flooded. We lived through massacres and bombings; the scale of these massacres was unprecedented. I lost half my family in these massacres and the war. As the days passed, we faced starvation. My sisters are suffering from malnutrition due to lack of food and water. I need your help to get food and water for my younger siblings. One dollar would make a difference to us; it would be a lifeline for my younger sisters. Please help me get the necessities of life, or at least stand with us." My name is Aiuosh Salha, from Palestine. I used to live in Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis, where life was simple and beautiful, full of hope despite the hardships we face in Gaza. But on December 4, 2023, everything changed. We were forced to leave our home as the bombing got closer, and from that day, our journey of suffering and displacement began. I fled with my husband and our two little daughters — we are a family of four — moving from place to place in search of safety. But where is safety in a land that is bombed day and night? We lost our home and everything we owned. Now we live in a tent that cannot protect us from the cold winter or the burning summer heat. Life in the camp is extremely difficult — there is not enough water, food, privacy, or comfort for the children. Despite the suffering and the lack of availability of the Internet, I was studying multimedia at the Islamic University until the university fees piled up on me and I did not have money to pay them.  I never imagined that I would have to leave my home or live this kind of life with my daughters, who need safety, food, and medicine. Yet, despite everything we’ve lost, I will never lose hope. Every missile that fell on Gaza was not merely an explosion—it was a story extinguished, a home reduced to rubble, and a dream buried beneath the ruins. Tens of thousands of airstrikes and shells transformed once vibrant neighborhoods into landscapes of silence, unleashing an immense amount of explosive force on a small strip of land where millions of people live. The destruction did not stop at buildings; it reached people’s hearts. Homes became piles of debris, streets lost their identity, and schools, hospitals, and mosques were left devastated. Behind every collapsed wall was a family, and beneath every pile of rubble lay memories, photographs, and dreams that would never be fulfilled.
