wait for the transition please because there's actually a team 😂 @jam_with_jigs organized @chicagoindianliteraturefest with @chicagoindianarts -- aka Chicago's FIRST Indian Arts and Literature Festival. this is the first time this city hosted anything of this scale to bring together South Asian people and culture. 250+ RSVPS just for a fashion gala, and that was one event alone -- imagine spending the whole day in this 12-hour festival packed with keynote speakers, author tables, panelists, and so much activity on and off the red carpet. not to mention any excuse to visit Chicago's historic @congressplazahotel is a good one! of course, this needed a team of 30+ to pull off, so meet us all here! @zecco_positive_soul @jahnaviiee12 @sjluxediaries @bhargavspage @07ash.exe @phoenniiixx.___ @lorencalvert @nenisclicks @jaikandino @_.vivitt.chandrasekaran._ @webrup @oneandonlysid24 (if you're not tagged, give yourself a shout out in the comments -- who came through?!) i'm honored to have been invited as one of the interviewers and content creators for this event. more recaps (and collabs 👀) coming up; make sure you follow our accounts so that they show up on your feed!

What they’re actually asking: They want to know if you understand the difference between a variable existing and a variable having a value — and whether you know how your specific language handles that distinction. The explanation: When you declare a variable, you’re telling the program “this thing exists, I’m reserving a spot for it!” When you assign a value, you’re saying “and here’s what’s in that spot.” The difference between null and undefined depends on the language, but the most common context this comes up is JavaScript: Undefined means the variable was declared but you never put anything in it. The language itself is telling you “I have no idea what this is supposed to be - you never told me.” It’s the default state. The slot exists but it’s genuinely empty. Null means someone deliberately put nothing there. It’s an intentional assignment of emptiness. A developer made a choice to say “this has no value right now” as opposed to just forgetting to assign one.
