Words can’t explain the shock ‼️⚠️⁉️ Our family is so grateful for @browardhealth Trauma Team, multiple doctors, multiple nurses that have helped my brother over these fragile weeks. Since Jan 08, he has had multiple surgeries and we can finally say that week 4, he has been released from the hospital. Although, the family kept telling him he’s in the hospital not in jail and that he can stay a week longer to rest!! But Lucas my baby brother has the strength (and the stubbornness) to get himself out from the hospital and back on his feet. With that, he is mentally sharp, THANK GOD, and thank you to everyone that prayed for us and kept us in our prayers DAILY. We are on the long road to physical therapy to really bring his body back. There is a @gofundme page created by his dear friends of over 15+ years that have helped spread the word. Please take some time to reflect and share this message, share our link, help my family insure Lucas gets back. Thank you to all who donated.

🎨🎒 What’s it all for? For the hands that come after ours. Sunday was about learning, creating, and opening doors through art. From hands-on activities to learning how to spray paint with @golden305, the day was filled with curiosity, confidence, and future artists in the making. Huge shoutout to @kobrapaintusa for being part of the spray paint workshop, and thank you to our some of our activity partners @modsftl @jafco_cac @allinih2o and @actonacademyfl for helping make the day special. ✨

A los 64 años, @lorenaronsiordia se sube al árbol. Un poco por locura y otro poco por amor al arte, a la comunidad y a la naturaleza. 🌳🧶 Así nace este árbol tejido para @aotafest un festival donde el arte es para la comunidad. AOTA regala espacios donde la rutina se detiene, refugios de color donde podemos volver a mirar, con calma hacia arriba. Intervenir un árbol no es cubrirlo, es escucharlo, honrarlo y recordarnos que estamos vivos en un mundo lleno de colores. Los colores tejidos te obligan a re-descubrir un árbol que dejaste de observar por tu por la locura de la vida . Cada hilo une manos, historias y raíces tanto de las personas que lo hicieron como de las personas que se detienen, unos minutos, a observarlo y vivirlo. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - At 64 years old, @lorenaronsiordia climbs the tree. A little out of madness, and a little out of love—for art, for community, and for nature. 🌳🧶 This is how this woven tree for @aotafest is born: a festival where art belongs to the community. Growing up in a big family, the holidays always meant noise, chaos, and being surrounded by the people you love. When I first moved down here it was definitely hard to not be with my family for holidays, birthday or things I was so used to, it’s part of the sacrifice I had to make to be here. But something I’m truly grateful for is the friends here who have brought me into their homes and treated me like one of their own. They’ve made sure I never had to spend a holiday alone, and that’s something I’ll always appreciate. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 #family #thanksgiving
