Many blessings to all for packing the place. I often do not feel “enough” for the music thing, a constant battle in my own head, but the other night was a pure expression of joy and community and friendship and was a great reminder to everyone in the room of what it can and should be about. Big vibes big love onwarrrrd!

I can’t believe I used to sing like this for 3 sets a night.

Have had a very strained relationship with music and performing, ever since the pandemic record (THIS CITY RIP), but am feeling the spirit move me a bit more these days.

I’ve had so many conversations with friends who have found themselves asking a similar question - “who am I without the identity of musician, songwriter, performer?” It seems to be a common plight when doing it for the sake of doing doesn’t seem to cut it anymore.

But I don’t know if being an artist ever leaves you, it merely takes a break to gather back its strength.

Am greatful to have fallen in to a working life that still revolves around the chaos of the music industry, but also grateful to the people who ask about if new music will ever come, and special gratitude to @davebidini & @westendphoenix for constantly pulling me back from the brink of retirement lol.

Nearly sprained a rib after singing this a few weeks ago, will remember to stretch next time.
