Things I have learned from side-questing in to a musical for the past 2 months:-10am start actually means 10am start-Choreo is possible do in jeans, but not advised-If you don’t read sheet music, you can just lie-You will meet the greatest group of freaks and find life long friends-People do NOT do shots of tequila before a show (this is different from music)-11am matinees for high school students are a unique kind of hell-If you forget your line on stage and make something up, you will be congratulated for improvising rather than disciplined for messing up-If you insist that your character needs to smoke in every scene, you will be provided with a personalized cig shelf of all varieties-Car naps will be essential to balance work life and theatre life-The costume department is basically a personalized vintage store-saying yes to the scary thing will always be the right thing to do-you are more capable than you think you are by @sameercash

Presented Ma with a Juno award for time served in this whacky industry. An honour and an adventure to watch her scrap her way to the top throughout my life.
