If I could eat one thing forever it will forever be crab 😍 My sister was visiting me and we had king crab for dinner! I didn’t have a pot big enough to fit these huge legs so I improvised. Steaming crab in sprite always gives such a yummy flavor! For the butter I used blackened old bay seasoning, garlic, and salted butter! 🦀

Tonight I had miso lemon pepper butter snow crab claws for dinner 😍 If you can’t tell, I could eat crab every day and be happy. I was so excited when I found a pack of thawed snow crab claws in the store today. These are so easy to make because pretty much anytime you find the snow crab, cause they are cooked previously then frozen! 

I made a butter sauce with miso, butter, lemon peel, pink peppercorns and a splash of sake. I tossed the crab into the sauce after it had heated up a lot, and then I turned the butter off so that the crab would overcook! When working with special ingredients like this, I really find less is more! this was such a delicious treat after an interesting week 🦀

Have you ever tried… sprouted coconuts?! This is one of the coolest fruits in the world in my opinion! sprouted coconuts, are what happens to coconuts as they start to turn into a tree. The inside turns into a little ball that’s covered in coconut oil. 

It has a slightly crunchy texture on the outer layer and the inside is juicy and sponge like! The flavor is light and refreshing with slight hints of salt around it! It’s such a treat if you can find especially if you let it set in the fridge to get cold before enjoying. 😍

A little croissant focaccia ASMR for you all today. After 3 almost 4 years of testing, failures, and feedback I can confidently say I have perfected the focaccia! This is croissant style focaccia with frozen grated butter folded in! I am ready to start learning a new bread now hahahaa 🍞

My favorite noodles in the world will forever be garlic crab noodles! I got a container of fresh jumbo lump crab meat as a birthday gift and my friend @thatsmacchia recreated a garlic crab noodle dish we used to always get in Orlando! These noodles have a garlicky butter soy base then with the sweetness of the crab it’s truly the perfect bite! ❤️🦀

Tonight my dad made soft shell crabs! It is officially soft shell season and there’s nothing better than soft shell crabs. Soft shell crabs are crabs that have just molted. The shells are super soft and get extra crispy when fried! It’s truly the best bite of crab you will have sooo juicy and crispy 🦀

One of the cheapest and tastiest bites of seafood will forever be calamari steaks! these come pre-tenderized and are so easy to make. I like pan frying mine, and then basting in a salty garlic butter. Calamari steaks are super tender and satisfying to eat- they are so tender you can even cut them with a fork. I served mine with charred lemon and shishito peppers  that I blistered in that garlicky squid butter 😍

The best fried shrimp in the world will forever be soft shell shrimp!! These are really hard to find and always such a treat when I can source! I recently got back from Japan and was feeling super inspired to make a karaage style fried shoft shell shrimp- needless to say it was the most delicious shrimp dish I’ve ever made!

These shrimp were already deveined when I bought them so that saved me a ton of time! I marinated the shrimp in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger! Don’t  judge the ginger powder I didn’t realize I had no fresh ginger at home 🤣 traditionally this would be made with potato starch, but I can’t eat potatoes so I used tapioca starch and a garlic seasoned flour. 

I fried basil first then flash fried the shrimp in algae oil! My favorite part of the softshell shrimp is definitely the head and the legs! They get so crispy and have incredible flavor but everything about this was sooo delicious 🦐
