Thank you 2025. Welcome 2026

Looking back on an AMAZING 2025, we started off strong with multiple national champions, many local tournaments, and of course our very own 2 day annual Black Belt Would tournament. We had fun filled PA Day, March break and summer camps. A relocation to a first class facility with a spectacular grand opening. At the new location alone we have already held a provincial training camp, our 50th black belt testing, and to end the off the year we held part of our 2025 winter Kyorugi training camp with the Korean team, olympians and athletes from all over the country, and a few very special guests.

To say we had an amazing year is an understatement, thank you to each and everyone that helped contribute to our success this year, it really does take a village and we are beyond grateful for the one we have. taken in 2026 by @reelstunts

It’s past 1:00 AM.
Most people are asleep, but I’m watching my son — now Master Yohan — on our CCTV finishing his work. Not as an employee, but as a corporate shareholder of our company.

I remember the nights when I stayed behind long after everyone left… cleaning mats, fixing equipment, planning classes, preparing for the next day.
That’s how Black Belt World Canada was built.

Now I’m witnessing the next generation carry that same torch.

This is the difference between an owner’s mindset and an employee’s mindset:
Owners stay until the job is done.
Owners think about tomorrow while everyone else sleeps.
Owners build legacy — not just schedules.

To see my son take it further than I ever did…
To see him embrace the responsibility, the vision, and the sacrifice…
I am beyond proud.

Legacy isn’t something you talk about.
Legacy is something you live,
something you pass on,
and something you watch grow — even at 1 AM on the CCTV.

Proud of you, Master Yohan. Keep going.
This is how champions — and leaders — are made.
By creating true LEGACY not when people are watching…
but when no one is watching for their claps or likes 👍 by @reelstunts
