It’s rare but sometimes in life you meet a light, a person who holds so much innate power, a wealth of knowledge and a deeper understanding of the human experience than you dreamed possible. Someone, who not only changes you, but changes the world simply by existing, by being themself. @therobinmorgan was this for not only women, but for those brave enough to listen to or read her words. She was fearless and immensely creative. She was a champion for the oppressed. Robin was also generous…. She gave so much of her time & of herself to help artists, me included. She will be missed. Sadly, the world is darker without her in it. But what an incredible gift to be blessed to know her. by @reemerrill

Carl Jung said “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” After almost a decade of running with wolves, I’m leaving my pack. In the wild, this happens. They leave because something deeper calls them and today, I’m answering the howl in my heart. What an honor it has been and I’m forever changed by these majestic creatures from Wolf Connection - 2, 3 and 4 legged. Among the many blessings I’m taking with me is the understanding of belonging, and how it doesn’t require me to fit in to other’s standards. The wolves reminded me of who I was, before. They reflected back the wild, they gave power to the inner voice I had ignored for years. Thank you, you will forever live in my heart. Grief can sometimes be overbearing and sometimes it exists quietly behind a forced smile. Sometimes it pushes down with incredible force and once in a while it lets me be. “When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me… speaking words of wisdom ‘Let it be’.”

On August 17, 2025 at 3:11am my mother, Penny Mitchell’s light went out. She was there for my first steps and I was there for her last. My last words to her were “I will love you forever.” She was the matriarch of our large family, the great oak that cast a large loving shadow and she will be remembered.

She never met a stranger and people often confided in her their most intimate secrets, because she was strong enough to hold them.

I spoke with her every day of my life, mostly twice but sometimes more. My best friend, who could make me laugh and also make me madder than hell. She was a beautiful, complicated, loving fierce beast of a woman, who will live on in the hearts of the many that loved her.

Until I see you again, Mommy D, I will most certainly, love you forever.
