Incredibly sad to hear about the passing of @therobinmorgan

Robin was one of those rare people who made an impact simply by being who she was…..brilliant, fearless, funny, and incredibly artistic. She lived a life with purpose, and leaves behind a legacy that will last a very long time.

Being dear friends with @theblakemorgan and @janitaartist afforded @reemerrill and I the immense privilege to experience conversations, laughter, kindness, and the moments that don’t make it into biographies or articles. Deeply grateful to have had this time.

The world is a little less interesting today without Robin Morgan with us. But made all the better for having her ferocious beliefs in it.

Sending so much love to everyone who loved her, worked with her, and was lucky enough to call her a friend.

Friends as chosen family, gathering people who do and don’t know one another in community and everything that comes from a communal life fuels me. So the many years of the pandemic, isolation and chronic illness with these gifts occuring in diminished frequency has felt like I was searching for oxygen. Getting back into this collective life that we’re so lucky to live fills my lungs with the deepest, juiciest breaths. Also, I love you, LA!!! #californialove #powerofthepack

We had the opportunity to meet so many amazing animals who are clearly deeply loved and exceptionally cared for. It was so special to spend time with such kind, passionate people who truly dedicate themselves to the wellbeing of these animals.

A special thank you to Stacy for welcoming us so warmly and allowing us to spend time playing with the wolf pups!! It was SUCH a joyful, unforgettable experience. 💛

We also loved meeting so many wonderful people involved with the sanctuary. The heart behind this place is felt everywhere you go. If you ever have the opportunity to visit, you absolutely should - it’s an incredibly special experience and a beautiful way to connect with animals and the people who care for them so deeply.

Flying out and getting to watch someone I’m so fiercely proud of do his thing, up on stage with Paul McCartney… that never really loses its feeling.

But it’s never just about that.

Milestone birthdays, being all together, the kind of laughter that carries on a bit too long, and time with friends who make the other side of the world feel a lot closer than it is.

A trip made up of moments I wouldn’t trade for anything ✨
