2026 Track Nationals 🥉

Had an amazing week in Bromont for the international C2 and Canadian Track Championships. I accomplished many of the goals I had set for my first national championships, with the highlight being a bronze medal in the Team Sprint (alongside teammates Sean, Cam, and Russell).

Thank you to @lamettorose / @factorstraining for the continued support leading into and throughout the race week, and my coach @athletesxcel / @coach_mcmullan for ensuring I’m well-prepared for my first UCI races. Also, thank you to our coaching/support staff (@mike0t7 + @mahoney7149) for keeping everyone organized all week, and to all my teammates for all the advice and motivation.

To @chrisgotdropped and everyone at @ncimcycling, I’d like to say a huge thank you for organizing the NCIM Elite group. I began my Track Cycling journey only seven months ago and I’ve already seen so much progress. Without your generosity and dedication to the development of athletes within the sport, I would not be able to compete at the level I have this past week. I’m looking forward to chasing my next set of goals alongside the group.

Lastly, thanks to my parents for making the trip to Bromont to watch and support my racing. Wouldn’t be possible without you!

2025 🚴🏼‍♂️

This past year has been quite the rollercoaster. I started the year on a high note with strong results in Virginia, but hit a mental block in Rock Hill which forced me to give up on some goals I had set for the year. After multiple years of trying and failing to meet the exact same goals, I felt I needed a break. The decision to take a step away from the sport was not easy, and I spent many months feeling guilty for giving up on my childhood dreams. To this day, I still miss the atmosphere, and the countless friends I’ve made over the past 14 years (which I know is longer than many of you have been alive). It’s not the end of the road, I’ll see you at races every once in a while, but I have a new set of goals I’m working towards.

I’d like to say thank you to @rbctrainingground and the help of @ncimcycling for reintroducing me to the sport of Track Cycling, and to everyone at @lamettorose / @factorstraining for believing in my potential from day one. I’m very excited to see where this new journey takes me in the coming years, and I hope many of you reading will stick around to support me along the way!

Can’t thank everyone over at @rbctrainingground enough for organizing such an unreal event, and for flying me out to Vancouver just to experience it. Making the top 100 this year after struggling mentally with BMX definitely helped to turn this year around for me.

I’d also like to thank everyone at @ncimcycling and @lamettorose (join @factorstraining today) for welcoming me into the sport of Track Cycling, and for creating a training environment where every athlete not only wants what’s best for themselves, but also what’s best for the athletes around them.

Finally, a big thank you to @coach_mcmullan (@athletesxcel) for all the support over the past six months. I’m heading into my first race season with confidence knowing that I’m on the right track with my training and overall development within the sport. Your nomination (on behalf of @cyclingcanadaofficial) to the National Final is appreciated more than you know!

For my BMX family, thanks for all the love and support throughout the season, I miss you all! This isn’t the end, I’ll see you at a race or two next year 🫶🏼
