You know where I’ll be. In my father’s house.
4 years. 4 years of the 10 hour bus ride, constant memories, seeing the new stage layout, getting hurt in the mosh, dehydration from crying so hard, being saved. The blessing I’ve had to be able to attend inside out Daytona for my 4 years of high school are so life changing, 1 year before it’s all my sister talked about and I finally understood the hype. Being able to experience Gods works from a state away and seeing 4500 students experience it as well is as holy as it gets.
Little freshman me, getting saved and learning to live in the light. Sophmore me, who went through so much change and struggle through church that no one should ever have to go through; learned to forgive the unforgiving. Junior me, who fell into temptation, sin, and was beyond lost got found. Now this year, senior year, my last year. A calling and reminder to find peace, labels, and the appetite of God.
Daytona as truly changed my life, more than I can say, to be a senior means I won’t be going back as a student again; that’s true heart break. Having a constant in your life like Daytona, counting down the days every year starting with 365. But as a senior that’s over, it’s no longer a constant. That can be scary, but im not scared because the only constant I need and have is God. What happens next is in Gods will, and I forever and ever cherish my years and memories at Daytona.
So to close out this very very long caption.
That very depressing and sad song that goes like, “this isn’t goodbye, this is simply see you later.”
Just remember, God has placed you in someone’s life to introduce them to him. Carry that. by @reesestein2
