You do not need a perfect lifestyle!

Small swaps can make a meaningful difference from exposure to microplastics 🐟

In simple terms, microplastics are tiny fragments that form when plastic breaks down which can happen through sunlight, washing, heat, and time. These particles are small enough to be swallowed in food or water, or even inhaled in the air.

The real goal is actually very simple:
Reduce exposure in the moments where plastic becomes unstable, especially when there is hear, friction, wear and tear, and repeated use.

We can choose safe habits and reduce the most obvious risks! You needn't do it in a single night but instead, do it gradually and realistically. Prevention is almost always easier than treatment 💙

What is Plastic Free July and why does it matter? 🌍

Started in Australia in 2011, Plastic Free July is now a global movement involving millions of people in over 190 countries, including YOU!

This July, we say NO to single-use plastic and YES to simple, powerful swaps:
🥤 Refill your water bottle
🛍️ Carry your own reusable bag
🍴 Say no to plastic cutlery
🌿 Share your actions with #RefillMyBottle

According to the Plastic Free Foundation Impact Report 2022, participants reduced household waste by up to 5% and many built lasting habits!

As the old proverb says, “Many a little makes a mickle.”

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to start.

✨ So let’s begin: grab your reusable bottle, and refill.

We are honored to be voted Community's Favorite at Dana Asa Kriya by Nuanu Social Fund 💙🌸

While we didn't take home the grand prize, we gained something equally valuable—mentorship, connections, and experience. Thanks to the marvelous @pratisarabumifoundation and @fivepillarexperiences, we sharpened our skills in leadership, cultural integration, and project management. We also had the pleasure of meeting the dedicated team behind Nuanu Social Fund and connecting with the Top 5 finalists, all of whom bring incredible passion for community and sustainability 🌱

A huge congratulations to @6usde.nth of @umadaya.community and @zeninatalya of @adyacommunity for winning Dana Asa Kriya! Your work is truly inspiring, and we can't wait to see the impact you'll continue to make 🚀

Thank you to everyone who supported us on this journey! 💙💧

Green Jobs, Here We Come! 🌱

The UK just launched a Skills Passport to help oil and gas workers transition into renewable energy jobs! ⚡

With up to 725,000 new green jobs on the horizon, this initiative makes it easier to transfer skills to industries like offshore wind and solar. 🌊☀️

But here’s the catch—having the right skills isn’t enough. We also need real job opportunities and investment in renewables to make this transition work.

What do you think? Is this a game-changer for the green workforce? Drop your thoughts below! 👇💬

As we celebrate the Year of the Snake, let's welcome prosperity and joy while keeping our planet in mind 🌏

What better way to start the year than by giving back to our planet?

Here are 3 easy ways to keep your Lunar New Year celebrations eco-friendly:

1️⃣ Refill, not landfill. Bring your reusable bottle to all the festivities, including your Popo's house!

2️⃣ Sustainable gifting, FTW. Swap disposable wrapping for reusable cloth or a basket—it's the gift that keeps on giving.

3️⃣ Feast mindfully! Share, freeze, or turn leftovers into something delicious to keep food waste out of the bin.

4️⃣ Travel consciously. Use refill stations on the go and pack your essentials in reusable containers—because every little bit counts.

This Lunar New Year, let's toats to abundance, community, and a healthier planet 🌸🏝️

🧧What's your go-to sustainable tip this Lunar New Year? Share it in the comments and spread the inspiration!

Good news coming from #Bali 🏝️

Starting February 3, 2025, Bali Provincial Government bans the use of single-use bottled water in regional-owned enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Daerah/BUMD) and schools, also applies to all regional apparatuses.

Even though the ban only applies to regional-owned institutions and schools, we must embrace this effort into our own daily habit!

Let's help the government realize a more sustainable Bali by bringing your own bottle 💧
