CELEBRATE JAZZ LEGACY 🎷🎶🎙️

KC holds a special place in the legacy of jazz culture. In light of Jazz Appreciation Month & International Jazz Day (April 30th) we are honoring two KC giants on piano. The "Lady who swings the band", Mary Lou Williams, and Jay MCShann who is a cultivator of the "Kansas City Swing Sound" and who's music transcends all walks of life.

In celebration of the month, we partnered with Kansas City jazz pianist, and curator Eddie Moore with Re/Gen to honor two legends who are often overlooked. With designs by FK Menace, this series highlights the importance of women in jazz through Mary Lou Williams’ legacy, while also recognizing Jay McShann’s lasting influence and deep family roots in Kansas City’s jazz culture today.

Proceeds will be donated back to the families to support and preserve jazz culture. Both Tees available now. taken in MADE MOBB by @regenculture

We are stoked to present the Paxton Harvey Elektrik Band for our next Re/Gen live experience. Heavy bass, hard grooves, and fluid improvisation give this group a unique dynamic in the jazz world.

Make sure to grab those tickets early, space is limited.

As a fan of the culture, the legends stayed fresh .From Miles, Monk, and Sun Ra aesthetic was sacred. For our first lifestyle piece we wanted to spotlight a local designer who makes sure you take the stage with tha drip 💧. Connect with the artist 👉🏾 @neuroticcreates.
