Acknowledging those present in my life now and all those that have been with me throughout my life.
All 25 years so far spiraling the sun. So many special, difficult, divine memories with woman.
So many connected and disconnected memories with the Earth
I give thanks to the Womb now, within and without.
I pray all woman remember to offer their cycle to the Earth. I pray all people remember to make some type of offering of gratitude to the Earth and the Womban around them. All beings yes giving thanks for the others. And now, may we take some time to give thanks to that which gives us life. by @regenerator.jbug

I love my Mama
7•19, her birthday
Tonight I stared up at the stars floating in heated geothermal water. Reflecting on my Mother.
I reflect on her joy and that sweet almost floating energy as she is in pure bliss. Her fire and passion, her anger. Feisty lil 5’2 woman. Her authentic no bullshiiiiii independent self. No care of what other people think, none of her business not worth her precious time.
She let a best friend live with me in high school, I put her through the wringer- as much of her life was at that time. Yelling at me and my friends when we were being disrespectful hooligans.
I remember all she had to endure to create me, my sister. Her family story. Her pain and hardship.
The life she has created around herself. Gifting me 5 more siblings and a sweet sweet divine masculine figure.
The way she nibbles on chocolate. The way she prioritizes movement and stretching. The way she wants to understand and really listen to the details of life. Her unconditional love and support. Her pure belief in her daughters.

I give thanks. And I remember.

Some people graduate in a gown, square hat, cords around their neck
Some get baptized in Holy Water by a Priest
I wore a white gown called the Regalia. Accompanied with a white veil, flower crown, red belt and head wrap, embodying the Moon and the women who collected salt.
I was baptized in the smoke of copal, the tears of gratitude running down my face as the sun rose the last night, the Earth we danced on, by each breath taken.
This was my 5th year of the Chicuauhtlimetztli Moon Dance in Mount Shasta.
In the past 9 months I completed my teachers advanced Curanderismo course, so I did get to receive a physical certificate. A piece of paper that represents dedication and time spent. It says 9 months but this has been 5 years of devotion, of slow integration of these teachings.
In the last 9 months I experienced Rites of Passage Ceremonies, moved through the 4 Altars of life, completing assignments on literature, learning the story that has kept these ways alive.
Experiences that planted seeds in my life that I intend to water and tend the rest of my life.
It’s with great honor to share this process with you and I do so with the intention to strengthen the beauty of life on these platforms. To invite those that see this to find their way into deeper connection with this life we live.

I give thanks for the ones that kept this way of life alive, as it once dwindled into embers. I honor the indigenous people who had to endure horror, abuse, murder. I acknowledge the colonization under the name of God ripping families apart, taking children to schools to rip away these sacred ways of living, the ones that sold their land to side with greed and power.
I acknowledge that- in my understanding- my ancestors were not the ones to commit these horrendous acts. Yet we are part of the colonization and white washing of these lands. I give thanks for my Grandma D for collecting all the possible data documented on my Ancestors. I acknowledge all my ancestors are from Europe, and they first colonized and terrorized themselves before making the journey across the Ocean.

We drove 6 hours and then we were here.
Our legs took us up a mountain to here.
Speaking solely Spanglish, swimming in pure snow melt, giggling.
Thank you ViVi. Thank you Alizeth.

I want to acknowledge all that is happening in the world.
I want to remind us all to acknowledge and feel it, if only for three breathes.
I have been intentionally not seeking out the news, but hearing it and seeing it all around me.
I am understanding avoiding it is not the way.
This is a major world evolution happening right in front of our faces.
I have faith admits it all, that this is happening in a greater plan.
I acknowledge my privilege to be able to access this faith right now.
I believe it truly comes down to how we choose to live in every day choices; where/how we are getting our food, the places we are living, the way we are living.

May we smell the roses and notice the little lady bugs.
May our childrens children have the honor to witness ancient beasts.
May we smile to the elder reading, feeding the squirrels in the park.
May new life continue unfolding if that’s what’s in the highest good for all.
May we imagine all of this war inside and out transforms into a play fight with foam swords.
May we stand together, uniting, using our voice together.
May we have the privilege and honor to know the ancestors of the present to these lands and sit and listen to them.
May we all have the privilege to know what it feels like to grow our own food, to plant a tree that future generations can rest under.
