POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It's been a while since I have introduced myself :) I am Reggie, I am a children's book author/illustrator and librarian. However, I was a zookeeper for over 10 years! Worked with a bunch of different animals and it was a wild experience! I cannot wait to share their stories with you :D

Jane Goodall is about to turn 90 years young on April 3. I am so grateful for everything she has done, I remember first reading about her in elementary school and there began my love for apes. I was fascinated by their capacity for tool use and emotion. I know scientifically you can’t anthropomorphize but after working with apes for many years you cannot convince me they are not sensitive, nor experience emotion. Anyway thank you Jane Goodall for all you have inspired, including myself <3

This Dragon painting to me means so much because of the amount of feedback and support I have received while making this. I am so grateful for the people I have in my life🥹 I am learning so much and feel so loved 🥰
