just a little photo dump of the things that have made me smile lately 🍓

firstly my besties released a book they wrote together which has me sobbing uncontrollably. Love you A & S to the moon and back!! Some book mail I absolutely did not need but at the same time absolutely needed, a few very thoughtful gifts and all the little moments in between that made the past few weeks feel lighter and brighter.

I am in my learning to appreciate the small pockets of happiness era

➴ A little glimpse into the world I’ve been quietly building.

Writing this book hasn’t been the easiest journey. I’ve struggled a lot with self doubt. There have been plenty of moments where my mental and physical health made it incredibly difficult to put words on a page. I’ve had to step away multiple times, start again and simply give myself some compassion and grace to not have everything figured out.

Despite all this, she’s still living rent free in my mind and waiting for me to become immy again and bring her to life.

I am pleased to say that after being in hospital for a while, I was able to finally put pen to paper this week and begin again.

I’m still learning and growing and I definitely do not have everything figured out but what I do know is that when something you’re so passionate about lives inside you, it’s your duty to give it everything you’ve got or you’re doing yourself a disservice.

I’ve also accepted that there’s no deadline on creating something you love with your whole heart. Slow and steady steps everyday are always enough.

So please stick with me, I promise she’s worth the wait.

I hope y’all enjoy this little teaser of my very morally questionable and murderous leading lady.

He is just as flawed when he opens his home to his daughter and best friend after they have an emergency and see the beauty that is Shea. She is sweet, innocent and oh so tempting. Their connection is IMMEDIATE AND INTENSE.

life update/mental health post 🦋🌷

I wanted to come on here and let you guys know that I won’t be as active over the next month or so.

For a while now I’ve been struggling a lot with my physical and mental health. Together my doctors and I made the decision this week to admit me to hospital for a period of time for treatment.

I’ve always believed to my core that mental health deserves the same openness and compassion as physical health. So I wanted to share this rather than simply disappear.

If being open about my own wellness journey helps one person feel a little less alone in theirs, then it’s worth sharing.

Seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness and needing extra support isn’t something to be ashamed of.

If you’re struggling too please know that asking for help is one of the bravest things you can do and that you’re never alone.

I want to say thank you to this wonderful community for all the kindness and support I’ve been shown over the years. I love you all so much and I can’t wait to return back better than ever.
