Got the chance to meet and assist Sang-il Lee, the director of Kokuho the opening film of the Japanese Film Festival 2026. Kokuho is a Japanese drama film centered on the world of traditional Japanese KABUKI and the intense journey of an aspiring performer.

It was such a great honor to meet and talk with him, even just for a short while. Honto ni koei desu! 🎬🇯🇵 by @rekdivanz

Subtle beast. The 29+ setup is built for hauling gear, extra frames, and a few beers lol. 💪

The original plan was to build a Surly Steamroller last year, but then I got an offer for a Surly Pacer (56cm), a bike I'd been wanting to try, and now it's finally here.

No regrets at all. I love how the Pacer looks, especially its thin tubing, straight TT and short chainstays. The plan was to run 650bx45c tires, and they fit perfectly. Fatties fit fine. 🙌

I built it up using spare bin parts just to check the geometry and ride feel. So far, everything feels right. Now it's ready for a fresh repaint.
