RA MIX 071: OEDIOUS x Diamantista Diamantista (@prenatal_amygdala) Deterritorialized sound artist. Currently Berlin based. A tender, visceral and hallucinatory vaporization of sounds and feelings, an exploration of solitude amidst a hyper connected reality. Voices, guitars, strings, field recordings, electronics, all processed through various audio production techniques and whatever means available, aiming to balance intensity and intimacy, manifest an arcane and elusive sense of beauty within dreamlike sequences, re-imagining the world building potential of metal-adjacent aesthetics through a degendered lens. Co-founder of label/platform @ruegoww, theatrical performance unit Anonymous Dreamers and clothing brand Liminal Veil. Possibly also a producer/DJ. Sympaathy.com ODEIOUS ODEIOUS (@oedious_ / @katlang___), a double entendre for lyrical poem and arousing disdain, is the sonic and performance alias of Kat Lang. Their work often explores the intersection of nature and technology, blending natural environments with digital recordings to create organic abstractions. “This mix is a tribute to pūroro - combining a mixture of ambient tracks with pink noise and voice memos for weathering the storm (chrysalism). Now far from Aotearoa I often find myself daydreaming of being home in the ngāhere during downpour, venturing back to a cosy haven with friends. This is dedicated to those memories.” >>>>now uploaded! •._.• ĹเＮⓀ 𝓲ⓝ 乃𝐈ｏ •._. by @relatedarticles

RA MIX 066: Nifeflip - Noumena Nifeflip (@nifeflip) is a Te Whanganui-a-Tara–born DJ/producer and co-founder of the elusive @glitzpub. For the right kind of chronically online mind, this journey offers music to breathe, see, feel, and heal to. #glistenup >>>>now uploaded! •._.• ĹเＮⓀ 𝓲ⓝ 乃𝐈ｏ •._. by @relatedarticles
RA MIX 066: dérive - Heart of Glass Berlin-based Dj & host of the @pppppoems party series at OHM, dérive (@derive_____ ) explores dizzying intensities throughout the low-end, defining her signature punch. shifting rhythms criss cross inter-looping soundscapes, leaping to wherever the bassline takes them. “This mix is me jamming under the influence of herzog’s heart of glass – a movie where an 18th-century bavarian village gets obsessed with ruby glass and slowly slips into madness after the only one who knows how to make it dies. the mix traces a similar feeling: sharp kinetics, hazy riddims, and rumbling low-end pressure.” >>>>now uploaded! •._.• ĹเＮⓀ 𝓲ⓝ 乃𝐈ｏ •._. by @relatedarticles

. RA MIX 064: Tikka - Ode to your Mum doing the washing “Ode to your Mum doing the washing, I literally listened to the first song by Joshua Ideden and thought I have to do something with this! This is a mix to say F*k the -isms and -archys. F*k the rules of mixing, f*k the genre purist. I think they discourage experimentation, creativity and innovation, which doesn’t add to the underground, it rather stalls progression. Basically this mix is a good representation of the kaupapa I apply to my selections, for me it’s about the artists I’m playing, who deserve to have their productions played and celebrated. It’s genreless. It has a lot of good basslines and drums. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy.” - Tikka (@tikka_masala) >>>>now uploaded! •._.• ĹเＮⓀ 𝓲ⓝ 乃𝐈ｏ •._. by @relatedarticles

RA MIX 062: Gristle + No Harm - stragglers Texture, percussion, and low end pressure are the only constants for No Harm (@noharmsound) & Gristle (@_gristle). They emerged as a b2b duo by way of collaborating on Tāmaki Makaurau’s ANTIDAWN nights. Since then, the persistent reimagination of their sets have made dancefloors motu-wide subject to the unpredictable and diffracted nature of contemporary bass music. At the fringes of past playlists, they found capsules of tracks left behind but not abandoned. This mix brings forward some of these stragglers, threading seemingly dissimilar pieces together into a contextual reimagining. >>>>now uploaded! •._.• ĹเＮⓀ 𝓲ⓝ 乃𝐈ｏ •._. by @relatedarticles

He’s the core founder of @insessionnz; a platform for emerging talent in Pōneke - championing diverse and inclusive dancefloor spaces, much like his performances, holding manaakitanga for all to enjoy. >>>>now uploaded! •._.• ĹเＮⓀ 𝓲ⓝ 乃𝐈ｏ •._. by @relatedarticles
