Remaining Native is a feature documentary told through the perspective of 17 year old, Kutoven Stevens, a Native American distance runner navigating his way to college athletics while the memory of his great-grandfather’s 50 mile escape from Indian boarding school begins to connect past, present, and future.

Ku Stevens is one of the new faces of the latest Nike N7 release alongside Lenise Omeasoo and Amber Midthunnder.

“I’ve wanted to work with Nike N7 since I was in seventh grade, so being featured in this campaign is a big dream come true”- @ku_stevens

In the campaign video, Ku reflects on where he draws his running inspiration from sharing the story of his great grandfather, Frank Quinn, who as an 8 year old boy escaped three times running 50 miles away from the Stewart Indian School.

We’re proud to support @remainingnative and @wings_of_america as they bring this special two-day event to the Coeur d’Alene community as part of a four-stop Remaining Native Run Camp Film Tour.

The Coeur d’Alene stop will feature a special Friday night screening and community panel with @ku_stevens, followed by a Saturday run camp hosted by Wings that brings together movement, culture, wellness, and the rich history of Native running.

We are honored to have been a part of Rememberance Run 2026. Thank you to the Stevens family and Remaining Native team for once again partnering with us to bring screen printing to your event! Participants hands-on printed Ku Stevens' artwork on shirts as part of the pre-run activities, which also included a screening of the Remaining Native documentary.
The Stevens family hosted the 50-mile Rememberance Run from Yerington to the Stewart Indian School over the following two days. Over 100 people came together to honor the children who survived Indian boarding schools and to remember those who never came home. taken in Yerington, Nevada by @remainingnative
