Hard works makes the dream work ⛅️ 🌈

It’s amazing being able to have my girls home with me and filling my days with love, laughter, and let’s be real, patience testing.

The slow mornings, the calls of business, creating art, making meals, we do it all together.

Anytime I have seafood that includes shellfish, I always notice how beautiful the shells themselves are 🐚

Each one different and perfect. I have to stop myself from hoarding them and taking them home.. and maybe making a craft 🎨 I almost didn’t cut a tomato the other day because I thought 💭 I need to paint this first 👩‍🎨 it was delicious, though. 🍅

I like to paint the mundane, isolate them into digital work, then create stickers and more from my original artwork. 🖼️ 👩🏼‍💻⌨️🖱️✍️

I love to paint every theme. It’s hard to pick a favourite but the ocean always calls me back. Check out @dearoceanco and shop my ocean artwork printed on the comfiest, highest quality fabric. New collection coming sooooo soon! I can’t wait for everyone to see and enjoy the fall in Dear Ocean. 🌊

Sometimes you have an idea that you just have to execute, even if you are not exactly sure how to do it 🐟 🎨

This is my first time sculpting and painting a fish garnished with lemons plus spinach and baby tomatoes 🍅 🍃 🍋

I always like to sculpt and paint the same type of plates, sometimes switching it up but mostly painting a variation of #bluewillow 🍽️

Here is Nova Scotia, where I live, I see so many different people from different worlds with these style plates. I think they entered the market in many different ways. Maybe even through a grocery store points program where you could collect different pieces of the set. 🛍️ 🛒

When I was a kid, my friend’s family had them. Confused, I thought “did they steal my grandmothers plates?”. ➡️ Now as an adult, my mom sorted me out with a set and my mother in law keeps my stash stocked as I’ve broken more than I’d like. 🏺 🔵

Anyways! This piece is a most finished and will be released for sale soon. Along with trays of oysters and more!!! 🍅 🦪 🦐 🍃

I have been busy this September 👶 🖼️ 🎨 swipe to see what I’ve been up to!

I have been painting / sculpting trays of oysters plus trying different types of seafood! 🦪 🦐 🐟 🍋 🖼️

I love my sketch book so much. 🎨 📕

Can one call it a sketchbook if you only paint in them?
I stopped using pen and pencil along time ago and decided to commit to my lines with acrylic paint + brush + acrylic markers, no eraser options except paint.

Someone great said only happy accidents, right? 🌳🧑‍🎨

Always busy taking on fun commissions. I love taking your ideas and bringing them to life. There is rarely something I won’t try to paint if it’s requested. I love a challenge, especially with paint. 🎨 I love the reaction from people when they see their idea is tangible.

I have to say, the @hawkinscheeziesofficial was pretty fun to paint. 🧡🔸

Making oysters out of modelling paste 🦪🔵

Each oyster is sculpted by hand with a palette knife directly onto a round canvas, building up layers of bumpy texture to create irregular details of a real oyster shell.

And yes… I’m already thinking about what other things from the ocean should become sculpted art. 🥰
