GET YOUR BALLOTS IN THE MAIL BY THIS FRIDAY!

(They need to be RECEIVED by mail at Local 99 by next Thursday, July 30 at 9am!)

These are just a few of the incredible people who have been instrumental (get it?) in helping run this campaign! They have helped me reach out personally to hundreds of our members and have provided me with constant support and encouragement.

One of the most important lessons I’ve had to learn repeatedly in union work is that individual action can make some difference, but COLLECTIVE action can make a huge difference.

No single person can do everything. I’ve tried and usually failed with that approach! Working with these kind, optimistic, brilliant people has reminded me of the importance of working together to make positive change.

No matter the outcome of this election, I know we will continue to do this work of making Local 99 a more perfect union!

Solidarity forever!

While the Election Committee meets this week to determine the exact timeline of this special election, I wanted to share a little bit about why I’m running for President of @afmlocal99!

Here are three goals I have for our union:

EMPOWER MUSICIANS
BUILD UNION SOLIDARITY
IMPROVE DEMOCRACY & TRANSPARENCY

I’ll be sharing more soon about how we can measure and achieve these goals, but in the meantime:

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

What’s going well at your workplace?
What could be better?
How can we work together to make positive changes for you and your coworkers?

Post a comment here, DM me, or email me at dougreneau@gmail.com and let me know! by @reneaudoug

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m running for President of @afmlocal99 Musicians Union (AFM) Local 99!

I’m building a campaign with musicians from across our diverse local to empower all members to play their part in making our union as strong as it can be. More platform details to come!

Solidarity forever!

I’m opening up some availability for advanced trumpet coaching starting this summer! Zoom and in person both available.

Anyone is welcome to inquire, but I am especially interested in those players who are done or nearly done with their formal training or players who may already be working professionally and want to add some refinement or finishing touches to their playing.

DM if you’re interested in leveling up your trumpet skills! by @reneaudoug
