My first weekend joining @maxkruseracing for NLS, first time on the Nordschleife in the wet, and first time driving a FWD car on track! Very grateful to MKR and @benny_leuchter for putting together a great program and helping us get up to speed. Can’t wait for more next year with this group💪

My teammates @johnsalernomotorsports and @rowangill74 did a nice job learning a very foreign platform in very tough conditions. While it’s a bummer that we didn’t get to race after an unfortunate incident in qualifying, all I care about is that John is completely uninjured after a nasty hit during some tricky weather. Happy to announce that alongside @johnsalernomotorsports and @renmessinger, we’re taking on the Nürburgring Nordschleife next week in the #819 VW Golf GTI TCR by @maxkruseracing!

At the start of the year I said I wanted to get back on the big stage, and now we’re doing it at the Nürburgring.

The world lost an incredible person last week.

I met Matt Dalton a few years ago, right as I was starting my career in racing. Matt was running Ferrari Challenge at the time, and invited me out to his races to help me make connections with professionals I’d only ever seen on TV before.

Two years later, he offered to sponsor my professional racing debut through his company Belle Haven Investments. While I was proud to have our car wrapped in orange with big Belle Haven logos all over it, I was so stunned when he said to me “You know, you can sell the hood, babe. Get as many sponsors on there as you can fit.”

I then understood that that was just how Matt rolled. He was sponsoring me for the simple reason that he took pride in helping me succeed.

Matt was relentlessly kind, and ready to share his vast knowledge of life with those he wanted to lift up. In the few years I knew him, he completely changed my life, and I’ve come to realize that he had this effect on everyone around him. I’m so grateful to have shared the experiences with him that I did, and I selfishly wish I could have had more time to learn from his truly unique history and outlook on life.

There will never be another Matt Dalton. Rest easy, friend, and thank you so much for the impact you left on the world around you. You will be forever missed. by @renmessinger

Recap from a very rainy weekend at Watkins Glen with @zenith_racingseries

This weekend, we continued to clean up our execution as an organization. Fast, problem-free pit stops, solid on-track reliability, and some SERIOUS speed from my co-drivers @lastturnracing @alex.pollard.racing and @max_ocaranza. We still lack significant long-run pace from our lack of downforce, which we will likely fix by the next race weekend. On the positive side, we had wicked straight line speed here comparatively. It was my first time being the car that’s slow in corners and fast on straights😂

With a reasonable points haul, the ZR3 championship battle is extremely tight. We enter the penultimate ZRS weekend of ‘26 with an extremely narrow lead. While we likely won’t win it on speed alone, we may have a shot if we continue our rock solid reliability and conventions.

Our @aoa_racing_ team had an excellent weekend at Road America. Our crew made some big strides in preparation and execution, and we got our M2 CSRs handling pretty nicely. Our 14 car nearly won on Sunday after a ton of tire and fuel saving, until a late race penalty relagated us to 3rd. On the positive side, our 85 car took over the win. We’ve still got some work to do to find outright pace, but our program is looking pretty solid, and both our crew and drivers are killing it!

Round 3 of @zenith_racingseries had us run a new format, with a 2.5 hour sprint race followed by a 12 hour enduro.

Before I get into the races, I’d like to share how proud I am of my co-drivers I was coaching; @alex.pollard.racing, @lastturnracing and @max_ocaranza. Alex was in the sister car and managed to run a ton of fast laps even with a completely inoperable ABS system, Max was an absolute trooper, giving up the seat time in practice to our other drivers and STILL being totally up to pace, and Christian was absolutely ripping after only driving a sports car 3 or 4 times. Great stuff from some strong drivers!

As for the races, we probably should have won the sprint race, but a persistent suspension issue with the car saw us lose a left front tire while leading with 20 minutes to go. Somehow I snuck in the fastest lap with the car handling quite sub-optimally though!

The feature race was a mess, as the suspension damage meant our left front tires could only last about 40 minutes before disintegrating. We ended up parking it after replacing multiple tires. Moving on to Road America next month. taken in VIRginia International Raceway by @renmessinger
