For months, along with my colleagues from both sides of the aisle, we have been developing serious, bipartisan frameworks to strengthen the safeguards around advanced AI.

Now it is time to move that work forward.

We’re now calling on House leadership to advance the dozens of bipartisan bills already on the table to strengthen AI security, transparency, and independent oversight—and better protect the systems our country depends on.

When the risks are clear and responsible solutions are within reach, inaction carries consequences of its own. We should not wait for a crisis to force the decisions we are capable of making today. by @repbrianfitz

My friend and partner, the late Senator Lindsey Graham, and I took up this fight together, united in the belief that America and the free world could not stand by while Putin wages his war of terror against Ukraine.

86 Senators voted for the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act. President Zelensky supports it. Vladimir Putin opposes it. That should tell us everything we need to know.

This is not Ukraine’s fight alone. There are moments when the principles we speak of—freedom and democracy, and the refusal to surrender either to tyranny—require something of us. This is one of those moments.

Today, the House must stand with Ukraine—and stand on the side of freedom. by @repbrianfitz

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives taken, honor the heroes who answered, and renew the resolve that united our nation in the days that followed.

Like so many of us, September 11th changed the course of my life.

It led me to the FBI. I knew I wanted to serve our country, defend the freedoms attacked that morning, and do everything I could to help ensure no generation of Americans would ever endure another tragedy of that magnitude again.

Twenty-five years later, standing at Ground Zero, that sense of duty has not changed. On the House Intelligence Committee, our bipartisan review of the 9/11 Commission Report asks the question we can never stop asking: Have we learned the lessons, closed the gaps, and prepared ourselves for the threats still ahead?

We remember the lives lost. We honor those who answered. And we carry forward the lessons of that day.

We will never forget. by @repbrianfitz

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11, we remember nearly 3,000 lives taken, the families forever changed, and the 40 heroes of Flight 93—including two members of our own Bucks County community, Lorraine Bay of Langhorne and Louis “Joey” Nacke II of New Hope—who, in the face of unimaginable evil, summoned extraordinary courage and chose to fight back.

Today, alongside members of Lorraine and Joey’s family, other families of those we lost, and my fellow members of the House Intelligence Committee, we traveled to Shanksville to continue our oversight work examining the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Report and the steps our intelligence community has taken in the years since to better protect our nation.

September 11 changed the course of my own life and called an entire generation of Americans to service. Twenty-five years later, the threats have evolved, but the mission has not. We must remain vigilant, close the gaps our adversaries seek to exploit, and ensure our intelligence community has the coordination, capabilities, and accountability necessary to keep the American people safe.

That is the responsibility we carry forward, and the commitment we owe to Lorraine, Joey, every family who still carries that loss, and every American we lost that fateful day. by @repbrianfitz

@RepBrianFitz joined @CNBC Squawk Box to discuss the growing national debt and the need for a serious, balanced approach to getting our fiscal house in order.

The Problem Solvers Caucus has put forward a bipartisan Fiscal Stability Framework to bring both parties to the table and develop responsible, long-term solutions.

It’s time for Congress to step up. by @repbrianfitz

For generations of Americans, Dolly Parton was more than a voice. She was a source of joy, grace, and common ground.

Few people have ever touched so many lives—or brought so many different people together—with such effortless grace. In so many ways, she was the great unifier.

Dolly had a rare gift for seeing people before differences. She never needed to surrender her faith, soften her convictions, or become anything other than exactly who she was to make room for everyone else. She led instead with sincerity, humor, compassion, and an abiding belief in our common humanity.

That spirit lived in her music, and in the life she built beyond it. Through the Imagination Library, she placed books in the hands of millions of children and opened worlds of possibility for families she would never meet. And her extraordinary generosity extended to medical research and children facing serious illness—including years of support for pediatric cancer research, a cause especially close to my work as Co-Chair of the House Cancer Caucus and to the broader mission we share: advancing treatment, accelerating research, and giving more families the hope of more time.

She understood something we too often forget: the strongest bridges are built not by asking people to be less of who they are, but by meeting them with enough grace to recognize what we share.

May we honor Dolly not only by remembering the music she gave us, but by carrying forward the way she lived—with faith, generosity, authenticity, and a little more grace for one another.

May she rest in eternal peace. by @repbrianfitz

A great afternoon spent with our friends at St. Thomas Aquinas in Croydon for their Annual Parish Picnic!

Afternoons like this are what community is all about—neighbors of all ages and backgrounds coming together in fellowship, taking time to catch up, give back, and carry forward the traditions that make our area so special.

Thank you to the entire St. Thomas Aquinas parish family, all of the incredible volunteers and neighbors who made today possible, and our friends from Knights of Columbus Council 4765 for all you do in service to our community! by @repbrianfitz

What an incredible night working alongside the volunteers at the St. Ann Carnival & Italian Festival in Historic Bristol Borough!

For one week every summer, the St. Ann and St. Mark Parish community brings one of Bucks County’s most beloved traditions to life. From the incredible food and homemade Italian baked goods to the games, raffles, music, and fellowship, it’s a little piece of the old-school summer fun so many of us grew up with around here—if you know, you know!

Huge thanks to the entire village of parishioners, volunteers, families, and neighbors who make this special tradition possible year after year—there’s really nothing like it.

Tonight is the final night, so if you haven’t made it over yet, stop by and experience a little of the magic for yourself! by @repbrianfitz

Some of the most important American innovation is not happening in Silicon Valley. It is happening right here in Bucks County.

Great visit to spend time with the team at Thinlabs in Langhorne, a homegrown company that has pioneered an entirely new category of computing technology: Power over Ethernet computers that deliver power and data through a single connection, reduce energy use, and simplify the way workplaces are built and connected.

What began here in our community has grown into a proven technology with more than 70,000 systems in the field—the result of years of hard work, ingenuity, and an exceptionally talented local team that turned a bold idea into a real American success story.

I look forward to working with this incredible team to ensure Bucks County continues to lead the way in American innovation. by @repbrianfitz

Well said, Governor. Our communities and our residents must always come first, must always be given a voice, and must always have final say over any development that impacts their community and their quality of life. We are pushing federal legislation that will work in tandem with both state legislation and local ordinances. by @repbrianfitz
