I am proud to have the support of 50 organizations, including nurses, social workers, reproductive rights advocates, environmental advocates, LGBTQ+ advocates, firefighters, electricians, painters, students, and so many more.

They understand what’s at stake in this election and I am proud to have them standing with me.

I hope you will join them in voting for me on or before September 1! 🗳️

I grew up in public housing in Cambridge, right here at Woodrow Wilson Court. This is where I learned the importance of community and how we have a shared responsibility to take care of one another. I saw neighbors looking out for each other, sharing what they had, and making sure no one faced hard times alone.

I also saw people working incredibly hard and still struggling to make ends meet, including my own family. I learned that the problem was never the people, the problem was the broken system.

That experience has shaped everything I do. It’s why I take on big corporations and fight to make sure no family has to choose between putting food on the table and paying rent.

I’ll never forget where I came from, and I’ll never stop working to make sure government is doing what it’s supposed to do: making people’s lives better.

People sometimes ask “What does a state representative do? And why does it matter?”

As your state rep, I’ve secured millions of dollars for Cambridge including:
✔️$1 million for the Cambridge Community Center
✔️almost $1 million for Food For Free
✔️$1 million for the Cambridge Health Alliance Windsor St. Clinic Dental Clinic
✔️$500,000 for the Cambridge Fire Department
✔️Millions of dollars for the Cambridge YWCA
✔️$160 million for the Cambridge Health Alliance
✔️funding for the Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School teen health clinic
✔️$1 million to keep open the Cambridge Health Alliance Birth Center

I have a record of showing up and delivering for our community. And I’m not done. I will continue fighting so our community has the resources it needs.

I had the great honor of receiving the @massaflcio Kathy Casavant Women in Leadership Award this week. Kathy was the Massachusetts AFL-CIO’s first woman Executive Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer and a trailblazer for women in the labor movement. She worked tirelessly not only to advocate for workers’ rights but also to ensure that women and people of color had access to leadership roles. It was deeply meaningful to receive an award in her name and to recognize the many women carrying that work forward today.

Thank you to President Chrissy Lynch and the Massachusetts AFL-CIO for this recognition and congratulations to my fellow honorees, @statesenatorlydiaedwards and @dropkickmurphys Kevin Casey. At a time when the federal government is actively dismantling collective bargaining rights and workplace protections and cutting anti-poverty programs, I am proud to stand with you as we continue to fight for working people across the Commonwealth. by @repdecker

Yesterday, I joined @maura_healey and @macollegedems to canvass for Democrats up and down the ballot in Cambridge. It was inspiring to see so many young people spending their Sunday organizing and fighting for their future.

Together, Governor Healey and the Legislature have led the nation in standing up for our most vulnerable communities, protecting reproductive freedom, and championing science-based policy.

Massachusetts is a model for the rest of the country for how government can truly improve people’s lives, and Governor Healey has been central to that work. At a time when Washington continues to threaten our rights and democracy, we must reelect Governor Healey this November to keep moving Massachusetts forward. by @repdecker

More than 1,300 union workers are on the picket line at @encorebostonharbor fighting for a fair contract with fair wages, continued health care benefits, and real protections as automation reshapes their jobs. Encore’s success depends on the people who show up every day to keep it running, and those workers should have a say in how changes in their workplace affect their jobs. It was a privilege to stand with @uniteherelocal26 and @teamsters25 and hear directly from workers about what is at stake for them and their families by @repdecker

Last week, I joined @32bjseiu security officers rallying for lower health insurance costs, fairer pay, and a contract that recognizes their value.

As the child of an SEIU shop steward, I know firsthand the difference that a fair contract makes in families’ daily lives. I will always show up and stand with workers fighting to make their voices heard because when workers win, we all win taken in Northeastern University by @repdecker
