It was a pleasure to join @napca_aging for their Benefits Education & Vaccine Outreach Event. NAPCA helps AANHPI seniors in our community understand their coverage and enroll in the benefits, in the languages they speak.

Everyone deserves to understand and access their health care. I'll keep fighting in Congress to lower costs and make sure every member of our community can get the care they need. by @repjudychu

I was thrilled to join @carnegieastro in Pasadena to celebrate one of science’s greatest discoveries, made at Mount Wilson Observatory in our San Gabriel Mountains: the Milky Way is just one galaxy among countless others!

That’s why I introduced a resolution designating October 5th as “National Beyond the Milky Way Day,” honoring Edwin Hubble, Henrietta Leavitt, and the generations of scientists who made this discovery possible. When we invest in scientific research, we unlock discoveries that forever change our understanding of the universe. by @repjudychu

This weekend, I was proud to join the American Cancer Society of Southern California’s Relay for Life to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand with families impacted by cancer.

No one should have to choose between lifesaving treatment and financial security. I’m fighting in Congress to expand early detection, improve access to treatment, and ensure every patient gets the care they deserve. Together, every step we take brings us closer to a future without cancer. by @repjudychu

This weekend, I joined the 28th Annual Pasadena Latino Heritage Festival to celebrate the culture, music, and food that make our Latino community shine!

To our immigrant families and all the unsung heroes - the day laborers, street vendors, caregivers, and everyone who keeps our neighborhoods running - thank you. Pasadena is stronger because of you, and I’ll never stop fighting for you. by @repjudychu

I was proud to present @caltechedu’s Dr. François Tissot, an Eaton Fire survivor, with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for receiving an @nsfgov award to advance critical research on toxic contamination following wildfires.

For families devastated by the Eaton Fire, the question of when their homes are safe remains urgently unanswered. Lead and other dangerous contaminants pose serious health risks, yet families still lack clear, science-based guidance on when they can safely return. With this funding, Dr. Tissot and his team will bring scientists, insurers, and affected communities together to help close that gap and improve how we assess and respond to contamination after wildfires nationwide.

Because no family recovering from a wildfire should have to wonder whether the home they're returning to is safe. by @repjudychu

Yesterday, I was thrilled to deliver $1,031,000 in federal community project funding I secured for the City of Pasadena to make critical regional public safety communications upgrades.

Whether responding to a wildfire or a major public event, our first responders need communications systems they can count on. With this investment, we can make sure they have the tools and technology they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. by @repjudychu

Yesterday, I joined @replaurafriedman, @replindasanchez, and my California colleagues to celebrate the introduction of the bipartisan Motion Picture, Television, and Entertainment Revitalization Act, which would create a new federal tax credit to bring entertainment industry jobs back home.

We built the film and television industry in Southern California. And as the Founder and Co-Chair of the Creative Rights Caucus, I will continue to fight to keep its productions, jobs, and its future here in the United States. by @repjudychu

Last week, I joined a coalition led by @lovepowersla to stand up for our democracy and protect voting rights for the American people!

Trump is trying to take over how Americans vote: going after mail-in ballots, threatening local election officials, and wrongly flagging eligible citizens as illegal voters. The courts keep blocking him, but he keeps trying.

I will keep fighting to protect the right to vote and free, safe elections — for this generation and every generation that follows. by @repjudychu

@fema has just FIVE days to release funding for the Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP) before thousands of LA Wildfire survivors are left hanging in the middle of their recovery, and over a hundred case managers are out of a job.

Survivors are at risk of losing housing, loan assistance, and rebuilding resources all because FEMA is withholding MILLIONS of already approved DCMP funds.

FEMA needs to release the funds NOW and reverse their decision to deny supplemental funding. Our communities’ survival is not up for debate.

Yesterday, I once again joined @congressmansherman, @senadamschiff, and @senalexpadilla to demand FEMA Administrator Cameron Hamilton take immediate action to stop the DCMP from shutting down, and release the funding needed to make sure our survivors are not deserted when they need help the most. by @repjudychu

This week I joined @advancingjusticesocal and @jamuseum to discuss the state of immigration in our country.

Trump's anti-immigrant agenda has trampled on the rights and due process of our immigrant communities, particularly AANHPI immigrants. Since Trump took office again, deportations of Asian immigrants have skyrocketed by 1,103%. In 2025 alone, deportations of Southeast Asian elders rose more than 20-fold compared to the year before.

Our immigrant communities contribute to every facet of American life. I will always stand with them. by @repjudychu
