Yesterday, I toured the Pharr Home Depot store to visit with employees who keep South Texas moving forward! I was proud to vote in support of the Combatting Organized Retail Crime Act to keep our workers safe and prevent losses as well as secure no tax on tips and overtime. I will always stand up for the businesses and hard-working families that drive our community forward! by @repmonicadlc

Yesterday, I hosted an Education Roundtable with leaders across South Texas on expanding career pathways for students and boosting the Texas workforce! By expanding savings plans for trade schools and introducing Workforce Pell Grants for skills-based certificate programs, we are creating powerful new opportunities South Texans to pursue their passions! by @repmonicadlc

Recently, I joined my colleagues from both sides of the aisle to urge U.S. International Trade Commission to protect domestic lamb producers from the over-saturation of foreign products in the U.S. I am proud to support this effort to protect our American farmers and ranchers! by @repmonicadlc
