Not asking you to trust one green claim. We’re making you check three.

Making three stands which our industry avoids answering: what’s actually in it, what happens after it, and what it does to you while wearing it.

Athlete is a body size S and chooses to wear a size L for strength training and a size S for HYROX training for different adherence fits with the same moisture and sweat wicking performance.

Top tested feature: Minimal to no odor development, low fabric cling, and a clean, dry hand feel. The result is a training layer that remains comfortable enough to wear well beyond the session for the day.

Mas 01 • Naturale, Navy, Nero

Organic cotton especially when GOTS-certified can be an excellent choice for everyday apparel. It’s a natural fibre, comfortable against the skin, and certification can provide important standards around how the textile is processed and produced.

But activity, sweating and recovering asks something different from a fabric.

Cotton is highly hydrophilic: it absorbs and retains significant amounts of moisture within the fibre itself. During exercise, that means sweat can accumulate in the garment, increasing its weight and leaving the fabric wet for longer leading to a wet microclimate on your skin.

For everyday wear, that may not matter.
But during training, especially prolonged activity or hot and humid climates, it does.

This is one of the reasons conventional performance apparel moved toward synthetic fibres such as polyester: they absorb very little water and can be engineered to move moisture and dry quickly.

The problem for us is that polyester is cheap plastic dipped in chemicals.

So our question wasn’t simply:
“What can replace polyester?”

It was:

“How much of its performance can we retain without making conventional plastic the foundation of the garment?”

Cotton has its place.
We just believe that climate-specific performance is not where it performs best.

When the label says Made in Italy, quality isn’t something to claim. It’s something to prove.

From ideation, to sourcing, to development and communication, every detail has to meet the standard we put our name behind.

A beautiful event where powerful breathwork met biological systemic control in a 40degC climate.

@repzerobyriang is proud to welcome 4 new practitioners of yoga and fascia healing to our Italian collective.

We envision a movement of health and wellness where apparel remains neutral to the body as environments around challenge and demand optimal biological performance.

Protecting a home isn’t only about what enters through the front door.

We absolutely agree with @amandarushforth who has made one thing pretty clear: the fibers we choose don’t just clothe us, they interact with us. Conventional “plastic” textiles, for all their shortcomings, are rarely just that. They’re then finished with chemical treatments linked to hormone disruption and fertility risk, absorbed daily through the skin, the body’s largest organ.

Natural fibers aren’t an aesthetic choice. They’re a first line of defense, for yourself and for the people you love, worn closest to the ones who trust you most. by @repzerobyriang
