9 Olympic golds. Former 100m world record holder. Olympic long jump champion four Games in a row.

So when @carl_lewis_official was asked what carries over from elite sport into business, I paid attention.

His first answer wasn’t talent. It was discipline.

I heard him speak at @vds.tech in Valencia, the startup and tech event run by @startupvalencia and the story he told next stayed with me. In his mid-twenties, he chose to train with athletes five or six years younger. He called himself “the old guy.” The point wasn’t to beat them. It was to be pushed by them.

He made the US Olympic team at 18 and was still winning gold at 35. That mindset is part of how he stayed at his best for so long. And it’s a better way to think about longevity.

Lifespan is how long you live.
Healthspan is how long you live well.
Peak span, a term I first heard from Dr. Rhonda Patrick, is how long you stay at your best, in your body, in your work and in your life.

Parts of the longevity world, like the Don’t Die movement, treat more years as the goal. I’m not against living longer. But more years isn’t the same as more life.

That’s what Live More means to me. Not just adding years, but being fully present and at your best in the ones you have.

Most days, no one is there to set the standard for you. It has to come from you.

Who in your life pushes you to stay at your best? 👇

Watch till the end to know why it won’t work unless it’s a team effort. We wont learn what’s good for us if brands are not transparent with their knowledge <-> they can’t create ethically if consumers don’t demand for it.

It’s 2026 and we need to live better.

Skin is one of the most underrated parts of longevity.

We talk about VO₂ max, ApoB, glucose, strength and biological age, but skin is one of the few places where aspects of ageing are visible in real time.

And it is not just about skincare.

☀️ UV exposure
🧬 Glycation
📈 Metabolic health
🦠 Gut health
🏃 Exercise
😴 Sleep
💧 Hydration
🥗 Nutrition
🔴 Red light
🧴 Targeted skincare

Some interventions have much stronger evidence than others. In a randomized trial of 903 adults, daily sunscreen use was associated with 24% less visible skin ageing over 4.5 years. That is why SPF sits at the foundation of my routine.

The bigger picture is inside the body too. I pay attention to glucose control, fibre and gut health, sleep, hydration, exercise and maintaining muscle.

Nutrition matters too. Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis, while vitamins C and E contribute to antioxidant defence.

I also use psyllium, berberine, collagen peptides, red light and selected longevity supplements, but I do not treat every intervention as equal.

Some are foundations. Some are targeted. Some are optional adjuncts.

That is my Live More philosophy.

Longevity is not about doing everything. It is about identifying what moves the needle most, doing it consistently, and layering in extras only when they earn their place.

With 44 just days away, I’ve put together the skin longevity protocol I’m currently using, including the products, evidence ranking and wider lifestyle habits behind it.

Comment SKIN and I’ll send it to you.

Curious what AI thinks your face age is? Try the free NOVOS FaceAge tool at @novoslabs and take the result with a pinch of salt. Lighting, angle and image quality can affect the estimate, and it is not the same as biological age.

And yes, what sits against your skin matters too. 👕 I’m wearing @repzerobyriang : 95% botanical lyocell, zero polyester, PFAS-free and azo-free dyes, with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I certification.

Prima costruiamo fondamenta solide.

Reason to celebrate: our bodies are considered when advice is given to us about our bodies. Well done, I’m proud of our medical research industry.

Long before speed became the standard, craftsmanship was measured by skill, patience, and the hands that made it.

In an age where machines can produce almost everything, handcrafted traditions continue to protect something far more valuable than the final product. They preserve livelihoods, knowledge, culture, and the dignity of artisans whose work cannot be replicated by automation.

Khadi has remained one of the strongest symbols of this belief, reminding us that not everything of value should be mass-produced. Some things deserve time, intention, and the human touch.

Technology will keep advancing, but hands and human craftsmanship will never become obsolete. That is what true quality means, not faster, but better.

Slow, steady, and made by real people.

With some of the world’s strongest education systems, Asian countries have produced generations of well-rounded individuals with exceptional academic achievement, healthcare innovation, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Yet despite these strengths, physical education and evidence-based fitness literacy lagged behind other areas of learning?
