Well what an experience that was. Considering just a year and a half ago I didn’t even know how to download rekordbox, to play on a boat party at a major festival is a full circle moment for me. Massive thank you to @hospitalityonthebeach x @house.of.dinosaur for choosing my entry as one of the 8 to play in this comp. Such a massive opportunity that has allowed me to showcase what I’m capable of behind the decks. I made it to the semi finals which is crazy! The amount of nights I had that wasn’t working out and made me question if it’s ever going to happen. Well it’s happening now because I trusted the process and stayed consistent. First time playing out in Thailand on the open decks in jan and now just 6 months later playing to a crowd on a boat in Croatia. It’s only up from here, I’m just getting started. Big ups to my cameramen (you know who you are). Big ups to my friends for making the most noise on that boat for me. And thank you to all my family and continued supporters, without you guys I wouldn’t have the confidence I do now. Until the next one 😤😤 by @resolute_dnb

So as some of you may know already, recently i received a notification that my comp mix with a select handful of other talented DJs, won a comp to play on a boat party in Croatia at hospitality on the beach. We will be going head to head and the winner plays on a b2b with the land comp winner. I’m fully gassed to be doing this, it just goes to show, you must trust the process. Big ups for @hospitalityonthebeach and @house.of.dinosaur for giving me the opportunity. If you’re at this festival grab a ticket for the boat party Saturday. It’s going to be a mad one. We’re back with another guest mix! Introducing RESOLUTE ❄️

Abstract Audio resident Resolute has been an artist to watch. A London based Drum and Bass DJ who’s been mixing for just over a year and in that time he has built up a versatile catalogue and a reputation within the scene.
You can expect a dynamic through the sub genres set ranging from Jungle, Rollers, Dancefloor and a combination of old and new style jump up. He is inspired by the sounds of Benny L, Kanine, Bish, Sub Zero and many more old school artists.

He’s provided us with 50 minutes of high energy, heavy drops and serious vibes make sure you go check this one out!

Some important information to note:
⚠️ There is parking on-site however spaces are quite limited. No need to worry though as there’s plenty of residential parking nearby

⚠️ If you’re travelling from Guildford Train station you can either get an Uber or taxi and it will take approx 6 mins to the venue.
Otherwise catch the number 4 or 20 bus from the bus station (0.4miles from train station) The stop nearest to the venue is called ‘The Crescent‘

⚠️ The venue has kindly arranged a special promotion - £7 on all double spirits including mixer! Please respect the venues rules, the only alcohol permitted on-site is the alcohol sold by them

⚠️Tickets are currently at £6.50 on Skiddle, however they are very likely to increase as the date gets closer. We recommend to buy these in advance

⚠️Weather is estimated to be a nice 23C - venue has AC & a huge outdoor area with seating to catch some sun & vibes so don’t be put off

⚠️ We are aware it’s the Championship League Final on Saturday, we have arranged for it to be shown in a screen at the venue ⚽️

Where to start. Firstly want to say a massive thank you to @seanfortune1 @kryptoniteevents @frissondnb for giving me the opportunity to play the closing set for this intimate venue event supporting @dj_amiah . Everyone bought the energy from start to finish and even with a few technical issues at the start I managed to improvise and take people on a journey through a sound I’ve been developing for 14 months. This is the first event I’ve played where the room was full and I must say, I’ve finally found the thing I want to pursue in life. Thank you to my friends and family for all the support.
