New song incoming 💫
It came in a flash, so rare. My feet in the grass, late summer - smiling at me ready to be sung. I’m so happy when I play it.

Beacon Flow @beacon.flow was pure magic. What a special way to bring together the local wellness and music communities 💫

Heallist was proud to power the festival bookings with our tools and support all the holistic practitioners on site and make their bookings flow while they do their work.

A self-described “multi-passionate,” Amy is a 22-year yoga and somatic movement teacher, transformational coach, retreat leader, and award-winning singer, songwriter and recording artist... among other things. She weaves all of these passions together as an artist, coach, and leader - in service to helping others break through barriers, and create a life filled with inspiration and meaning.

A desire to connect her worlds of wellness and music inspired her to co-create this festival with Dassi and Richie. It’s been a joy and a journey. Her next album, Skeleton Key, drops in 2027!

Caryn is an Ayurveda practitioner who guides our community toward balance and holistic health. She is also the creative mind behind the Beacon Flow website, bringing the spirit of music and wellness into digital form. Her work blends ancient wisdom with modern design, just as Beacon Flow blends wellness, music, and community. We’re so grateful to have her vibrant energy and skills shaping our website.

Co-founder, co-producer, bass player, and composer, Dassi is the inspiration and engine behind Beacon Flow! To celebrate the release of her first EP, Order of the Flow, she envisioned a Summer Solstice gathering with yoga, sound healing, meditation and a sunset concert. And voila! Beacon Flow was born.

Dassi has toured with the late Debbie Friedman, played bass on albums by Gabrielle Roth and the Mirrors, and released three solo projects, The Next Flow and Order of the Flow, and NiNE which just came out on October 2nd.

Amen - written in 2009 & I’ve been playing it live ever since. Recorded but never released… I think I just like to sing it… like a prayer 🤲 #songwriterlife #songsheal by @resonantheart

One of those photographs that seems to raise more questions than it answers.

First use of the new studio, the beginning of a collaboration with Amy Soucy @resonantheart shooting images to go with music she will be recording over the next few months. A great collaborator, she is pretty fearless as a subject.

2026 0913, 5:06pm, L1021031, shot with a Leica Q2 Monochrom. More to come. Excited for the journey.

“Ameri-clecti-cana”, that’s the sound The Downside Up brings to Beacon Flow this year: a genre-bending blend of Americana, rock, blues and jazz.

Al Hemberger (recording engineer behind The Loft Recording Studios, with credits including Rihanna and Rod Stewart), Amy Soucy (Beacon songwriter and Falcon Ridge Folk Fest Emerging Artist), and Evan Schwartz (blues guitar whiz) make up the trio.

Catch them live October 10th and hear it for yourself 🎸

Deep bow to the hearts that came to Savor Simplicity 2026. Wow. Amy and I were humbled, awe-inspired, and so honored to be in space with you all! @resonantheart

We sang by the multiple bonfires under the stars, danced, SWAYED!, cried, celebrated, shared, grounded, expressed, rested, and moved our bodies, minds, hearts, and Spirits.

Each year holds something different that Amy and I could never design because Source and those present co-create magical moments of love and laughter together. It is spontaneous, free, open, and held with deep reverence.

If you are in need of spaces where you can be exactly who you are; spaces where you can fully take care of yourself and be taken care of by two seasoned and multiple decades of experience facilitators (that’s us, hint, lol), then look no further and send us a message.

Many years ago (15, 16?) on a planet called Washington Heights, 2 young yoga teachers met and a kinship was born.

Though it’s rare to find 2 yoga teachers together in the wild 🤪 @shawnashakti and I forged a friendship that’s also blossomed into a thriving retreat business!

We call it “ Retreats Reimagined,” and we’ve taken our intrepid retreat clients to far-flung places like Sicily, Costa Rica and Dominica… and closer to home, from the Hudson Valley to the Poconos.

Both 20+ year veteran teachers, we value embodied practices like Yoga, Qigong, somatic movement, meditation as a means to connect to your true nature - which is wholeness, peace and wisdom.

At every retreat, we include sacred group circles and rituals that foster soul-level connections among participants, and help you see you’re never truly alone.

But the real magic is in the gathering of beautiful, intentional beings moving, breathing, laughing, walking, meditating, singing and just BEing… sharing sacred time and space, together.

If this sparked something in you, 2 spots just opened on our upcoming retreat, Savor Simplicity at the beautiful @himalayan_institute !

Get in touch by commenting or DM & will send you all the delicious info!

4th of July on Fire Island:
Cold Atlantic swims
New dresses
Picking up beach trash
A pick up jazz band
Good friends, good food, & endless fireworks on the horizon 🎆 – I’m hoping that that’s a metaphor for good things to come!
