Hands On Fire + entrance/d A night of collective intensity with two Copenhagen projects working at the edges of free jazz, noise, repetition and extreme music. Hands On Fire brings a ten-piece collision of doom-heavy grooves, no-wave guitar, horns, strings and free improvisation, while entrance/d appears in a stripped-down duo formation, building ecstatic states through repetition, exhaustion and dense walls of sound. The concert marks the release of Hands On Fire’s debut album and is presented together with Movement Shaped Like A Heart. ☉ Friday 13.11.26 19.00

Program på @kulturmoedet 2026 Oplev den næste generation af kunstnere, når Yi Ten Lai (@yitenlai) (f. 1996, Bailén, Spanien), dimittend fra Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi (@billedkunstskolerne), indtager Kulturmødet Mors med sin performance ’Haunt and Seek’ i et samarbejde mellem Kunsthal Spritten (@kunsthalspritten) og Kunsthal Charlottenborg (kunsthalcharlottenborg) 🐲 Yi Ten Lai har baggrund i flere kulturer og er, med sine egne ord, i en ”diasporisk krop” - én som, frivilligt eller ufrivilligt, lever udenfor sit hjemland, men som stadig er knyttet dertil gennem f.eks. sprog, kultur eller religion. For Lai giver det en følelse af altid at være ”næsten-men-ikke-helt”. En følelse, der danner udgangspunktet for Lais kunstneriske praksis, hvor hun undersøger, hvad der sker, når kulturelt knyttede traditioner, praksisser og genstande passerer en krop, en grænse eller en generation. Forvandles de til noget nyt? Forsvinder de? Eller bliver de til et genfærd af sig selv? På Kulturmødet Mors kan I opleve performancen ‘Haunt and Seek’, hvor hvide genfærdslignende ånder bevæger sig rundt på Kulturmødet, guidet af hyrdekald, før de til slut samler sig til en stærk lydperformance af det eksperimentelle metal-kollektiv Entrance/d, som Lai har stiftet med musiker Harald Ingvarsson (@returecreature). De håndlavede åndekostumerne i pil og silke er levendegjort af frivillige og trækker på den kinesiske løve- og kirin-dansetradition. De eksisterer i en tilstand af diaspora: fordrevne, fragmenterede og delvist glemte. ⚠️ Performancen starter kl. 15.40 ved Kulturvejen, bevæger sig rundt på Kulturmødet og slutter med en lydperformance kl. 16.40 på Folkescenen. Artist highlight: Gelwane (live)  Gelwane is a project experimenting with the embodiment of sound and anthropocene mythology, often leading to a junction between hauntology and celestial disruption. Recently they have been investigating the history and lore of Gelwane, a mythical act that took place in Jelling. We are really happy to finally share the album we made this winter. 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦/𝘥 𝘳𝘦-𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦 is epic and heavy and it was a ton of fun to make. We will play a release concert this coming Thursday. The concert is one side quest on a bigger adventure, taking place at the core of the art installation (𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘯 𝘖𝘭𝘥 𝘋𝘰𝘨 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘛𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴) and preceeded by a “lion dance” parade (𝘏𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘬). That’s 𝐊𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐠, 𝐂𝐏𝐇, 𝟏𝟕:𝟑𝟎, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟖 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. A lot of fun and there is free wine if you’re early @kunsthalcharlottenborg about this project: Re-Enchanted by Fire is the debut album of entrance/d — a Copenhagen-based collective devoted to the ecstatic potential of sound. Founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by Yi Ten Lai and Harald Ture Ingvarsson, entrance/d is an ever-shifting ensemble of musicians making the making of extreme music easy and accessible. The album follows the journey of a nameless creature — held captive at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg since 1912 — digitally stolen, rematerialised in clay, and fired in a communal bonfire on the island of Ven on the night of Valborg. Re-Enchanted by Fire is a serenade of perpetuation. Pre-nihilistic transcendence found not through despair, but through repetition, exhaustion, and euphoric walls of sound. The record contains a unique code to the digital album, written on joss paper.
