An old picture but Happy Daughters Day to my beautiful @h.marchetti by @revivewellness2020

The sunrise is slowly getting later and the sunsets slowly coming earlier.

We have a few short weeks remaining to soak up the best of summer.

Maybe you’re dealing with returning to work or the upcoming chaos of kids back to school. It’s natural to look for the easy way out, to over indulge or start having a bit of nerves set it.

It’s also time for fall pollen to start, leaving some of us 😞🫩🤧😷.

This is actually when we need to double down and support our immune system! Making changes to my family’s diet and environment 10 years ago drastically changed my seasonal allergies!

I went from 3 daily medications and a rescue inhaler to 0! There may be an occasion when I take allergy medication but it’s very rare!

Here are some simple steps to help you through the upcoming season changes.

1 Remove pro inflammatory foods from your diet. Things like dairy, sugar and gluten are known to promote inflammation weakening your immune system.

2 Boost your vitamin C and zinc intake. More veggies of various colors! This strengthens your immune system’s ability to clean up the junk.

3 As tempting as it is to burn the candle at both ends to get things done AND still enjoy these precious days, lack of sleep puts a toll on your body’s ability to remove toxins!

4 Drink extra water! Do t give this toxins time to sit around!

5 Add a digestive enzyme. Pollens (and viruses) are proteins 🤯, supporting digestion helps to breakdown those proteins to more easily remove them from the body! 👏🏻

6 Remove ALL artificial scents from your home. This can include personal care products, cleaners, room sprays, candles and perfumes. The fewer things your body has to fight the better able it is to defend you!

For info on specific products I use/recommend DM me!

Enjoy the finals days of summer and go into fall in comfort with a peace of mind, clear thoughts and breathing easy!

As women we play so many rolls which requires so many skills.

No doubt this can be exhausting (at any stage of life)!

A wise person (@h.marchetti ) once pointed out that I was a better mother when I was happy. It seems like that should be obvious but so often we put the needs of others before our own thinking we are being the best version of ourselves.

Here is a question for you are you truly happy? Are you truly being the best version of yourself?

What does it take to put your best foot forward? Do you not need to feel rested, healthy and strong?

If you are ready to take care of yourself to allow you to be the best mother, aunt, grandmother, sister and friend follow me for simple tips and message me for 1:1 coaching.

Simply adding some fresh herbs not only looks pretty and adds a burst of flavor it also increases the amount of phytonutrients in your diet thereby improving your gut health! 😉🌱🐓 by @revivewellness2020

How do you take a Power Salad and make it even better?

Cook the quinoa in bone broth or miso for extra gut health.
Add salmon topped with poppy seeds for healthy fat, loads of protein, extra phytonutrients and FLAVOR!

I love my everything but the bagel seasoning for a quick topping!

This is a filling dinner salad full of flavor and so many super nutrients!

Nothing better than delicious food and #capshockey !

The full and embarrassing truth of my weekend!

So first of all Happy Easter everyone!

So the story starts a week ago. I decided I couldn’t spend a holiday lidless at home. We make sort of last minute plans to do a weekend trip.

Friday morning turned out super busy and I packed for a simple short weekend getaway in 10 minutes.

I knew we would be hiking and it would be warm. As we prepared to visit #calvercliffsstatepark I realized I not only forgot bug repellents but I forgot a sports bra 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😁.

Luckily there was a #target nearby and I bought this super cute sports bra (on clear so I took whatever size was there- this is important to remember). I realize that I also had grab some random essential oils, one of which was a geranium. I know this is often an ingredient in bug repellent so I applied to my legs. Here is a bright spot… husband found a tick crawling on him and dog had a few… I had none 👏🏻👍 (this is personal experience and not medical advice).

Get back to hotel to shower and I forgot all my normal soaps and shampoo. Thankfully @hiltonhotels now have these zero products! Here’s the most embarrassing part… I had to get help getting out of that cute sports bra 🤣. Remember I bought whatever size was in the clearance 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤣.

Anyway, it was a beautiful weekend with great weather. I didn’t pack enough socks but I did have the right amount of underwear.

So someone please tell me I’m not alone in poor packing or in getting stuck in a sports bra. Is this all menopause? Na! I’m going with it’s a coincidence, but I do know as I’ve gotten older I need to be more intentional, take my time and do one thing at a time (yes I probably have ADD).

If you can relate this you will really love what the future holds! Stay tuned!
