this started off as a cutesy trend and ended up making me super emo 😅

i've spent a lot of time lately grappling with where reworked has come from, what she means to me, and where i want her to go. and to be honest, the activism aspect of her can truly be a burden to bear - whether it's the uncomfortable conversations, lost opportunities, verbal harassment (y'all get your peepaws in check in public PLZ), or just the mental weight of constantly focusing on the things in this country that make me the most angry.

reworked was never intended to be as political as she's become, but if you know me personally, you know it's damn near impossible for me to shut the fuck up in the presence of unfairness, inequality and injustice (maybe it's the libra in me hehe).

I don't exactly know the future of reworked, or of our country - but for the moment I will continue to make clothes that make old white man angry, and give platform to the voices of those who feel unheard.

i am forever changed by the activism that reworked has brought me into and by the people who i've helped feel heard.

thank you guys for your unending support, i love you all sm for being here 🫶🏼
