Meet Clover and Lillith, our resident Deinonychus! These feathered predators are dromaeosaurs, often called "raptors", as they're known for the distinct sickle-shaped claw on their feet! Swipe to read more about Deinonychus and some notes from APZ keepers regarding their animal training. You can see them and their vibrant personalities in the open-air section of the Time of Flight Aviary. 🪽

As we draw closer to official release, we want to share some of the full spread pages from Artemis Paleozoo! These two images, featuring artwork from @teolorenzo13 , make a great example of the page layout you can expect to see throughout much of the book. Link in bio to preorder your copy today! Available in the US & Canada October 20th. 📚

Some scenes from our sold-out (🤯) Prehistoric Fight Night @nhmla last week.

Big thanks to the museum - the heroes in events and programming, the retail staff, security, custodians, and anyone else who stayed late into the night to help make this one such a success.

Another big thanks to The Dutchess of Dire Wolves, Dr. Mairin Balisi, scicomm champion Tony Turner, paleoartist extraordinaire Cullen Townsend, and theropod-mouth expert Dr. Zach Morris!

And a huge, humble thank you to the LA paleo-enthusiasts! Thank you for coming. Thanks for the warm welcome. Thanks for the excellent questions and conversations. We cannot wait to see you all again next time!
