Did it get humid in here? 🐸🦋🦎

The Amber Vivarium is dedicated to many of earth's slimy, scaley, and exoskeletoned friends from the past. Watch insects the size of birds fly in the air, as amphibians, and even some fish, clamber onto the bank for a nap. Whatever your preference is, feel free to crawl, slither or scuttle your way through the doors 🚪

Meet Clover and Lillith, our resident Deinonychus! These feathered predators are dromaeosaurs, often called "raptors", as they're known for the distinct sickle-shaped claw on their feet! Swipe to read more about Deinonychus and some notes from APZ keepers regarding their animal training. You can see them and their vibrant personalities in the open-air section of the Time of Flight Aviary. 🪽

As we draw closer to official release, we want to share some of the full spread pages from Artemis Paleozoo! These two images, featuring artwork from @teolorenzo13 , make a great example of the page layout you can expect to see throughout much of the book. Link in bio to preorder your copy today! Available in the US & Canada October 20th. 📚

I spent the last few days putting out some beautiful new items in the shop, and I have to say… this is one of my favorite parts of what I do. 💛

There’s something special about opening a box and seeing the creativity of Montana makers.

This week, I added:

🌷 Handmade spring flower arrangements by Christina Rawley
🐻 Wildlife art, puzzles, and books by Ted Rechlin of Rextooth Studios

Each piece is made with care, and each one brings something unique to the shop.

Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful gift, something fun for the kids, or just a little reminder of why Montana is such a special place, these new arrivals are worth a look.

And if you’re heading into Livingston from Paradise Valley, or driving toward Yellowstone, this is a fun excuse to stop in. 😊

Which would catch your eye first:
🌷 the flowers
🐻 the wildlife art
🧩 the puzzles and books
