🚨 DISRESPECT A GURU, INVITE SUFFERING & MISFORTUNE ⚠️

Bhāgavata Purāṇa (11.17.27) says:

“ācāryaṁ mām vijānīyān
nāvamanyeta karhicit
na martya‑buddhyā asūyeta
sarva‑deva‑mayo guruḥ”

Translation:
“One should always know the spiritual teacher as if he is the Lord Himself.
Never disrespect him at any time.
Never be jealous of him, thinking he is just an ordinary human,
because the guru is like the living presence of all the gods.”

Think about this for a moment: Disrespecting a guru is considered a grave sin. 😨

The guru is your guide to God, truth, and spiritual life. If you insult or ignore a true guru, the Purāṇa warns:

1. You can lose divine guidance !!!!

2. Fall into ignorance and suffering !!!

3. Attract misfortune, failure, and spiritual downfall !!!!

4. The universe protects the guru. Disrespecting him is like opposing God Himself !!!!

🛑 This is a WARNING:

Disrespecting your GURU is not just a mistake it’s spiritually disastrous. 😨

Snorkeled all day, rested for a bit, then spent the night by the beach with Ilaiyaraaja and A.R. Rahman songs playing in the background. 🌊

One thing about Terengganu people they are genuinely so kind. A guide at Pulau Redang who wasn’t even assigned to me helped take my pictures, and later even my resort receptionist happily helped too. Small gestures, but they made my solo trip feel a little less lonely. Sad I can’t tag them here because they don’t have Instagram 🤍

Funny how a solo trip can make you miss your people deeply, yet help you find a softer version of yourself at the same time. Terengganu, you were special.

Before & after snorkeling 🤿🌊

Went in all excited and came out sunburned, tired, and happy 😂

Saw turtles 🐢, nemo fish, baby sharks, and the most beautiful corals… but sadly couldn’t capture most of it because my phone battery died halfway 😭 Only managed to take this picture before it completely gave up hahaha.

People were actually willing to help take pictures for me… but sis had no phone left to even pass to them 😅

Solo trip struggles hahaha 🤍

First solo trip, just for me ❤️🩵🤍

For the longest time, I always thought birthdays meant others would celebrate you… not something you do for yourself. And spending on myself always came with guilt.

I even wanted to do this last year, but I couldn’t I was down with a heavy fever and sick for a week. So this year, I made sure I was healthy, planned everything properly… and finally did it. Hahaha.

For my 29th birthday, I chose me. I took leave, packed my things, and drove all the way to Terengganu because driving is my peace.

And honestly… it felt so right.

Crystal clear waters, long road views, quiet moments with myself… it didn’t even feel like Malaysia sometimes, more like somewhere far away and unreal.

Finally made it to Pulau Redang something I’ve always wanted. And it was worth every bit of it.

Too good. Too peaceful. Too me.

Part 1 of many memories 🌊🩷

🦚A NEW START 🦚
By God’s grace, I’ve been carrying Paalkudam since I was 9 years old, and soon it will be 20 years. Until last year, I never thought about changing the tradition. But this year, after learning about the benefits of offering different fluids instead of milk, I decided to carry sugarcane juice. I asked acha to bring it made from the SUGARCANE JUICE in our own orchard. Just because I’m away in KL, I paid acha because I wanted to feel fulfilled not just take it for free.

It was such a beautiful experience offering sugarcane juice from our own orchard to my Murugar. My parents and I worked together and the extra effort we put into it made it feel so fulfilling. Carrying the juice from Attangarai Batu Caves to Batu Caves hilltop felt incredibly special. My parents brought the juice the day before. Then we did prayers at home and later we made our way to Batu Caves.

The crowd was massive, and although we arrived at 12 AM, we didn’t park until 2:45 AM. We waited for almost 3 hours before heading up the hilltop and finishing by 7 AM. After pouring, the remaining juice in the pot, we drank it, and it was sweet and still perfect. It didn’t spoil at all which felt like a miracle. Truly it was a blessing.

When the priest poured the sugarcane juice on my Murugar and Vel I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. Watching that moment was indescribably beautiful, and I can’t fully explain it. It was a moment I’ll never forget, not only for me but also for my parents, who were so happy to see the change.

I’m looking forward to trying something different next year. Maybe I’ll even cut the sugarcanes myself and make the juice fresh. Let’s see how my Murugar guides me. I usually don’t carry my phone during Paalkudam to keep the moment sacred, so I don’t have any pictures or videos of the process. But I wanted to share this experience in hopes it will inspire others to try something new, just like I did after seeing others last year.

Thanks to Both Their Divine Graces blessings 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

CREATING KINDNESS OVER JUDGMENT!!!

Reflecting on my own healing journey, I've recognized the impact of my past judgments.

Here's my two cents for you all:

We shouldn't rush to judge others. While we might think we know them, often, we're missing the full picture.

Our judgments stem from our past experiences, yet we overlook the many other possibilities that exist. Only God and the individuals involved truly know the complete truth.

When we judge, we risk unintentionally causing harm, especially to those already facing challenges. Our actions can exacerbate their struggles, particularly when they feel lost and unable to seek help.

Let's refrain from judging others and embrace kindness instead. In our pursuit of mental peace, let's prioritize supporting each other over material luxuries.
