I’m very happy to share my first official weird dance music release after a looong time in the making. Thanks to everyone that lent me their ears the past months. Really hoping that it can reach even more ears now that it’s part of the digital airwaves

a compilation of tracks/ experiments that came to life over the past few months. between the winter isolation and the coming of spring.
very personal, unapologetic and genre defying.
the manifestation of these times i chose not to go out. to sit with myself, glued to my screen for hours. neither from a happy place nor a sad one.
for the moments i felt stuck and wanted some change, for the moments i didn’t want to look back but i did either way, for the moments that time was running so fast while standing in absolute stillness

Album is out

_auditory essays_

touching on the soft sides of noise and the harsh nature of ambient. exploring the eerie sounds of my voice and my saxophone, as an extension of my breath. songs for the departed and those who can only mourn now. a collection of essays too negligible or too real to be put into words. an aural testimony of events that emerged and withered overnight. the opposition to silence.

these 6 tracks were recorded live, then processed and cut in post
i release them to the world as rough as i could allow my self to

so let go and enjoy the immersion

I choose not to put out my music on spotify and instead use a platform that focuses (a bit) more on the individual creator and the cyber network within it.

The unlimited streams with higher sound quality and the ''name your own price'' for downloading the album are also important factors for choosing bandcamp over any other platform.

fonaklās is going to be uploaded to youtube one of the next days.

On the lineup:

İpek Odabaşı (electronics)
is an Istanbul-born, Berlin-based noise maker, sound artist, experimental DJ, and curator. Her practice centers on experimental music, including noise and improvised performance, combining samples and field recordings with live sound produced through hardware instruments and digital systems for real-time synthesis, processing, and transformation.

“Seht” (electronics, modular)
Brazil based ex-Berliner Seht is a sonologist, synthesist, performer, event organizer and label manager. Anti-Music, nontheist teleology, cybernetics, Marx and Satan in an auditory landscape of bleeps and blops.

Ortansia Rhastoni (objects, electronics, weirdness)
quirky grooves & uncanny voices drifting between actual music and theatrical performance, localized somewhere between Berlin and Thessaloniki, as if that mattered at all. Rhastoni combines elements of acusmatics together with rhythmic structures of club inspired electronic music. If you’re undecided whether you find it funny or weird and how you relate to the whole situation in general, you’re just at the right spot between shaking a leg and deep listening.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. The concerts are in the back of the bar in the smokers' room. For any further questions dm or speak directly to the bar staff.

@all.ears___ is being birthed on the 30th of July in the cosy premises of @morphine_records_raum and invites you to come as you are.
Don’t forget to bring your weird, nerdy, shy or awkward self.

Do you recognise this sharp pain that nails you down, makes your bones, your flesh, your organs all separate and collapse for a moment, or for a decade, or what feels like forever? Or that feeling of forever being long-overdue, expired, rotting somewhere under the soil, a feeling that fleeted away long-time ago, and no matter how much you tried to hold on to, to desperately grasp, it slipped through your fingers, as you watched it disappear? Have you ever felt powerless, or alone, or alienated? Or walked down the streets, empty, shattered to pieces, belonging nowhere?
Or perhaps as you were finally starting to feel alive again, it came back, consumed you. chewed you up, spat you out as you were screaming “stop, there is nothing left of me” ?

Grief as a carrier of loss, of death, of disappointment, of anger, of rage.
For that, which is gone, or never ceased to exist.
For losing, or for never having the opportunity to win, or even try to.

SARKA is an organism that invites you to bring the fucking rotting pile of shit, the skeletons in your closet, and the monsters under your bed, the shadows that come out of your sleep paralysis, the candles of the dead that warm up your soul. SARKA wants to befriend them all. And try to face them, together, and heal.
Some time ago, we began to look for ways of grief as a celebration, as a ritual, as an act of resistance and survival. On the 19th of December, under the spell of the new moon, SARKA is facilitating a situation that calls all souls to grief - collectively and individually, for that which is shared, and yet beyond personal. A gathering that embraces rawness, and proposes relief. A gathering to remind us that we are not alone. And to find solutions together, to come in pece with grief, or at the very least - give it space to exist.
