October 15th another BLACKOUT hits Neue Zukunft again

Where? Alt-Stralau 68, 10245 Berlin
When? Doors 20:00 Shows 20:30
Damage? Ask kindly at the door, it may turn out soft and gentle. Tears guaranteed throughout the night.

On the lineup:

İpek Odabaşı (electronics)
is an Istanbul-born, Berlin-based noise maker, sound artist, experimental DJ, and curator. Her practice centers on experimental music, including noise and improvised performance, combining samples and field recordings with live sound produced through hardware instruments and digital systems for real-time synthesis, processing, and transformation.

“Seht” (electronics, modular)
Brazil based ex-Berliner Seht is a sonologist, synthesist, performer, event organizer and label manager. Anti-Music, nontheist teleology, cybernetics, Marx and Satan in an auditory landscape of bleeps and blops.

Ortansia Rhastoni (objects, electronics, weirdness)
quirky grooves & uncanny voices drifting between actual music and theatrical performance, localized somewhere between Berlin and Thessaloniki, as if that mattered at all. Rhastoni combines elements of acusmatics together with rhythmic structures of club inspired electronic music. If you’re undecided whether you find it funny or weird and how you relate to the whole situation in general, you’re just at the right spot between shaking a leg and deep listening.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. The concerts are in the back of the bar in the smokers' room. For any further questions dm or speak directly to the bar staff.

Our ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review! Every bit of support, kind words and lovely reviews means everything to us.

’Yes Person is a refreshing blend of circus and acrobatics, clowning, sketches and performance art that experiments with form in a profoundly authentic way. To me, this is a euphorically queer show, but one that never names itself as such – rather, it feels inherently queer in its bold and unapologetic treatment of the many worlds it touches (in content and in staging), and the way it refuses to be just one thing. Is it theatre, or circus? Is it an exhibition? Why not be everything all at once?’

You can still see this 5 star show today at 4.30 at @assemblyfest. Thank you @cirkohelsinki @fininst_uk_ireland @taikegram for supporting us. Last one for the Fringe, lets do it!

Artist release!!

Orfea is a queer Greek sound artist who spent way too much time studying classical music and is now putting it to good use.

Combining knowledge with intuition, analog with digital, and a keen ear for textures and grooves, he manoeuvres around genres and defies labels. Hailing from Thessaloniki’s underground and diy scene he has performed solo and with bands in Greece, Germany, Switzerland and England.

Ortansia is 1/2 of WOOORMS, an electronic cabaret/ avant-garde synth punk duo. She is currently based in Berlin.

you write a thing — next you know, it’s on stage.. what??

through putting this show together I learned so much about the creative process, about art, about the intricacies of being human and how we choose to show up in the world. and patience.. so much patience.

I am deeply grateful for so many people: @isk_kerem for co-producing the music with me, @rhastoni___ for bringing the show to the next level with his sax and presence, @ephe.drina for the gorgeous lights and sound, @lauragamartins for her generous support in putting it on the lovely ZdB stage, @queluzmenosluz for these trippy photos (many more to share), all my old and new friends who showed up to support me on the day (it means the world to me!), @ivaniassss for being the sweet beast she is and for being on my side through the development of it all, @loopland.creatives for the gorg promo material leading up (as always!), the sweet @lastivka_lisova for letting me rehearse in the @gooch_theatre, and my dearest of them all, my dear mama @benanvey for her endless support and inspiration, always.
I’m proud of myself for insisting on vulnerability despite the potential cringe of it all, for putting in the work, and for knowing when to step back and let life take over. damn I feel grown up; look at that.

can’t wait to see what this piece evolves into. next stop >>> @nohextended’s synthroom in Istanbul! 22.05.26 — be there şekerim! this time it’ll be a solo show, and I’m bringing more attitude to match my years living in Istanbul, my home town. az kaldıııı! 💗
