Yesterday was an absolute PERFECT day to join our friends @pvd_foodtruckevents at their event down @safeharbornewenglandboatworks in Portsmouth.

A really cool drive into the facility through the boat yard. Tons of racing sailboats and a few yachts. All the trucks set up around the water line overlooking Narragansett Bay really set the tone.

Started off first with a little appetizer from @fyrgrillco. Some honey sriracha brussel sprouts and some loaded Fyr Fries topped with pork. Killer all around.

Next, the little guy who loves his brisket, was craving a sandwich from @bbq_y_mas. Tender, melt in your mouth and the perfect bbq sauce that made its way through the pile of meat.

A grilled cheese is always necessary and @champmelt never misses. Loaded with cheddar, pickles, bacon and pimento cheese. Definite sleeper.

Of course we needed some dessert on the way out, so we grabbed a foursome of beignets with raspberry jelly and chocolate syringes to inject into the middle from @dr.doughboys.

I owe an apology to @miacanepvd. We grabbed two INCREDIBLE drinks from them and I forgot to snap pics. The Vietnamese Coffee and the Strawberry Lime drinks were awesome. I had the strawberry. Light, crisp and certainly refreshing.

This is hands down the best spot that Eric and his crew offer for their events. Always good to see you guys 🙌🙌🙌 taken in Safe Harbor New England Boatworks by @rhode.licious

Rainy nights call for dinner dates @a_guy_and_his_pie. Box of slices for the sampling.

Bacon Cheeseburger with secret burger sauce, sesame seeds and American cheese.

The always popular Buffalo Chicken loaded with breaded cutlets, buffalo and ranch dressing.

A Burrata slice that just melts away in your mouth and an OG cheese just because.

Not pictured was the classic tomato slice we devoured while waiting.

Kid free Sundays are always a good time to head to @thayerstreetpvd for a little lunch. Even better when the surrounding colleges are on Spring break.

Started @dendenhospitality for some Korean chicken wings. Tossed in sticky with the spicy on the side to dip.

Stopped in next door @feedthecheeks for a quick, small 4 pack of walking around cookies. Always fresh and soft.

Needed to stop into @antonios_pizza_bytheslice for a couple topped slices. Spinach and mozz for her, Corned beef rueben for me. Never misses.

Not pictured, but thoroughly enjoyed was our loaded box of deliciousness from @chinatown_on_thayer. Slacked on the pic of that one. Womp womp 🤣🤣 taken in Thayer Street by @rhode.licious

A couple of weeks back, we swung over to the boonies of Cranston to check out @dosmundosri. Blink and you might miss them tucked down off the road.

Started with a Strawberry Refresher and a Thai Tea (not pictured). Absolute 🔥🔥

Main courses were a couple of carne asada and a couple of pork belly tacos. Everything was fresh, crisp and packed with flavor. Definitely dropped the ball and didnt snag a pic of the chicken fried rice. Crazy good.

Definitely swing by this family owned spot and see what delicious fusion creations they are pumping out 🔥🔥 taken in Cranston, Rhode Island by @rhode.licious

Please excuse the darkness on these pics. I never want to use a flash to ruin other people's meals.

Popped into @doneldiablori a few weeks back to check out some authentic Mexican food. Nothing but top shelf coming out of here.

Started with the mango guacamole with fresh tortilla chips. Dug into some taquitos and quesadillas for the main entrees 🔥🔥 taken in Don el Diablo by @rhode.licious

Here is the ONLY problem with @a_guy_and_his_pie.... its too GOOD 🤣🤣

We had preordered some jalapeño cheese bread with an OG cheese on the side. Well, we showed up to pick the order up and this beauty was just staring at us through the glass. Of course we had to add it on and it may have just been better than it all.

Cream base, garlic confit, shredded parm, artichokes, bacon. Im sure there are a few ingredients missing from that list.

Mannnn @therethere_ri NEVER misses. Double smash burger and fried cheese katsu sandwiches for the mains. Couple orders of salted potatoes and fries on the side. Those extra seeded buns though 🔥🔥 Always a great choice. 🤤🤤 taken in There, There. by @rhode.licious

Last weekend, we loaded up the car for our inaugural trip down to the beach. Sitting in the sun doing nothing all day somehow whips up a pretty big hunger. Who knew? 🤣

A spot that has been posted by many over the last couple of months is @rhodyslice. They didnt disappoint in the least. I went with their BBQ chicken and the 2 of them each grabbed a slice of classic cheese. @yachtclubsoda all around to wash down.

As @stoolpresidente would say, "Zero Flop, Great Crust". This would be his style. No grease, fresh sauce, right amount of cheese. Soft dough, but a nice crispy undercarriage. South County seems to have a bunch of great pizza spots popping up lately 🔥🔥🔥 taken in Rhode Island by @rhode.licious

We have new neighbors!!!! @bombsmoothies recently opened here in Johnston on Greenville Ave. Stopped in with the little guy to check out their offerings, specifically a frozen lemonade after seeing a post earlier in the week.

He got a Tigers Blood covered in gummy bears and I got a blue razz with nerds (my kryptonite combo for slushies 🤣). Tasted great and super refreshing. No lingering artificial flavor like alot of slushies.

Also snagged a churro cheesecake for once Im settled in for the night. Dont miss this spot. Fresh churros, doughboys, 2+ dozen flavors of ice cream, acai bowls. The list goes on. There is truly something for everyone.

Big thanks to Nick and Renee for chatting up a bit. Wishing you guys nothing but success.

Go swing by their spot and give some support for a local, family owned joint. I know we will be back sooner rather than later 🔥🔥🔥 taken in Greenville Avenue by @rhode.licious

About two weeks ago, our friends over @pvd_foodtruckevents had their event over at Memorial Park in Johnston. After a long day, dinner by the water with the fam was much needed.

First stop was @therollingitalian for some GIANT mozzarella triangles. Perfectly fried with a huge cheese pull and dipped in their sweet, homemade marinara had us ready to eat.

Seemingly always a stop for us is @bowledflavor for one of their rice bowls. Light, fresh rice. Tons of crispy veggies and tender chicken all tossed in a nice teriyaki sauce.

Grabbed but not forgotten was the cup of @delslemonade for the little guy, some crispy, crinkle cut fries from @turnerbrosllc and a 4 pack of sliders from @atomicburger_ri.
