I must take a moment to personally thank the Men & Women of the - 003rd District @chicagopolicedepartment - for 3 separate occasions- Sept. 3, 4th and 22nd you helped make possible a safe, historic experience for our youth and community without any Chaos or Spectacle.
On short notice, your presence and professionalism meant everything to the success of our students moving safely to and from a concert with tens of thousands of attendees. On Sept 22nd you ensured our community could celebrate our ancestor and village mother Dr. Donda West street naming with the honor it deserved. Thanks Commander John Clegget and all the officers who came out for being a responsive community partners. by @rhymefestforchicago

The moment one commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to that would never otherwise have occurred. A stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.- WH Murray. #futurebuilders 🎥 @velle_vell by @rhymefestforchicago

Special Thanks to CBS Chicago @sabrinafranza for featuring us in the amazing story about our Labor Day activations to keep our Chicago Youth safe by exposing them to some amazing opportunities. Thanks @rhymefest for extending the opportunity for our Champs Ambassadors to attend the historic @ye concert last week. We also partnered with A Loving Ministries to take youth to @camptimberlee. We expose our young people to enriching activities that expose them beyond the four walls of school. taken in Gary Comer Youth Center by @rhymefestforchicago
