After a nonstop summer of dancing, travelling, creating and sharing, it is time to gather the family to celebrate LIFE and everything we have lived along the way 😛

We meet in Lisbon, right in front of the river, at TEJÁ House a central, easily accessible meeting point - for this celebration, we will open all rooms and levels, creating an interconnected home for 250+ souls 🥳

We will have a full day program with Ecstatic Dance • Live Medicine Music • Movement n’ Ritual • Birthday Cake Explosion • Family Jam 🌟 Cosmic Market, Healing Zone, Cacao Bar and space to reconnect by the river 🌈

WATER PRAYER

Icaros Festival 2026 / Day 2

This year theme of @icaros.festival was water, what better way to honor it with a prayer ceremony next to the water 💧

Guided by @laurafrederico_ with me and @peppizen_g supporting, we sang together and set our intentions honoring the waters within and around.

This gave birth to the song of the video, written by @laurafrederico_ and musically arranged by me.

“I am water, I am flow,
Where love moves I will go

Water within, water around
May my true voice be gently found

Hey ya hey ya hey ya ho”

Be careful the song stays in the head 😅❤️

Found some videos of 20 (!) years ago 😯

Last week I went to an @ironmaiden concert and it brought me back down into memory lane. Bands like maiden, @metallica and others shaped so much my youth and teenager years.
They were the reason why I started to play guitar, my company trough good and bad times and also how I made friends.

The impact that music, bands, actors, role models can have specially during formative years can be so huge.

This older bands now are also something that connects families, was beautiful to see in the concert fathers/mothers and sons/daughters together enjoying, bonded also thru music.

Encontrei alguns vídeos de há 20 (!) anos atrás 😯

Na semana passada fui a um concerto dos @ironmaiden e trouxe-me muitas recordações. Bandas como maiden, @metallica e outras marcaram muito a minha juventude e adolescência.

Foram elas que me inspiraram a começar a tocar guitarra, me fizeram companhia nos bons e maus momentos e também me ajudaram a fazer amigos.

O impacto que a música, as bandas, os atores e os ídolos podem ter, especialmente durante os anos de formação, é enorme.

Estas bandas mais antigas hoje em são também algo que une famílias. Foi lindo ver pais/mães e filhos/filhas juntos no concerto, a desfrutar e a fortalecendo laços através da música.

This is what the post-retreat glow looks like. We should do a before-and-after because the difference is truly stark 🪷

Already 3 weeks since 35 of us came together in a remarkably cohesive community. We shared tears, laughter, bonded over wholesome food, sang, danced, yogi’ed, played music, swam, sunbathed, enjoyed the silence. And, most importantly, all without a phone in sight ✨

This is the Ecstatic Experience. Transformational, life-affirming and heart-opening. It reminds us why we are alive ❤️‍🔥

And we’re ready to do it all again! We’ve got 2 more retreats lined up this year:

“Dar voz ao coração do Masculino”
foi o tema deste círculo no @awakeness_gathering com um palco apenas dedicado ao Masculino ( outro dedicado ao Feminino e um aos adolescentes ) tornando este gathering bastante diferente.

Obg a estes irmãos incríveis que decidiram embarcar nesta viagem juntos 🙌🙏

Homem também se expressa, Homem também chora, Homem que escuta o coração recorda a sua força e a sua direcção.

Ajudemo-nos mutuamente a sermos melhores, por nós, pelos nossos, pelo mundo.

was the theme of this circle at @awakeness_gathering with a stage dedicated solely to the Masculine (another dedicated to the Feminine and one to teenagers), making this gathering quite different.

Thank you to these incredible brothers who decided to embark on this journey together 🙌🙏

Men also express themselves, men also cry, men who listen to their hearts remember their strength and their direction.

✨ PUJA DE GONGOS ✨

Uma noite inteira dedicada ao som, à presença e à transformação.

Durante 7h30 ininterruptas, uma equipa de 10 tocadores sustentou a vibração dos gongos, criando um campo sonoro profundo que acompanhou todos os participantes numa viagem interior única.

A cerimónia iniciou-se com uma abertura sagrada e, ao nascer do sol, os gongos silenciaram-se para dar lugar à cerimónia de encerramento.

Aqui partilhamos uma das melodias que nasceu espontaneamente durante esta experiência.

Um momento verdadeiramente mágico, onde não existiam músicos nem espectadores, apenas pessoas reunidas em torno do poder do som.

Quando nos abrimos à escuta profunda, a música surge naturalmente.

Juntos fazemos música espiritual intuitiva.Juntos recordamos a linguagem universal do coração.

Um rezo à coragem de tomarmos o nosso lugar no mundo, de partilharmos o único que existe em cada um de nós.

Acredito que existe um chamado para cada um de nós e lugares que são para nós. Onde os nossos dons e relações podem prosperar e contribuir para um mundo melhor.

Mas isso implica sairmos de lugares que não são os nossos, deixarmos de tentar ser igual a outros, deixarmos de tentar ser pais dos nossos pais, deixar de ver a/o nossa/o parceira romântica como criança, deixarmos nós próprios de ocupar o lugar de criança.

Um rezo à coragem de tomarmos o nosso lugar 🙌

“Toma o teu lugar.
Está na hora, ouve o chamar.
Está na hora, de o honrar”

A prayer for the courage to take our place in the world, to share the uniqueness that exists in each of us.

I believe there is a calling for each of us and places that are meant for us. Where our gifts and relationships can thrive and contribute to a better world.

But this implies leaving places that are not ours, ceasing to try to be like others, ceasing to try to be parents to our parents, ceasing to see our romantic partner as a child, ceasing to occupy the place of a child ourselves.

A prayer for the courage to take our place 🙌
