1 Month in Japan

What an incredible country!

I had an absolute blast getting to explore and try so many different things. From eating raw chicken to bungee jumping. I definitely got out of my comfort zone.

But my favorite part of all was the friends I made.

Missed Colorado!

Just took a 2 week trip across the country and the business didn’t skip a beat without me. My team rocks!

Got to see Bentonville, Ar (best city trails in the world), did a little business in KC @justgloves, got to see my sisters and nephews in Kansas, and got to hit the slopes in Winter Park.

Had a blast but ready to get back to work and keep growing! by @rich.davis.3

Miss the mountains already :(

Owning a business comes with a lot of stress and can consume you if you aren’t careful. For the first time in a while I was able to disconnect and just go have fun without the business skipping a beat. (Thanks to @noahmcmurrain and @john_lewis543 being badasses) Not something I’ve been able to do for almost the last two years.

Not only was it a much needed disconnect but I got to explore the mountains with some pretty awesome people. Carried my gimbal for miles, climbed some towers, lined up some tattoos, and ran a half marathon while pushing @traceyannamasterson up the whole damn mountain.

Wish I could’ve seen Utah on a snowboard or a mountain bike but the running shoes were still a blast.

Still felt sick and pre race nutrition was a solid 2/10. Somehow managed to get 2nd for the 4th time in a row now.

Wish I could’ve pushed harder but still always love getting to compete and spend time with this crew #fairlifechocolatemilk that mud was no joke. taken in Diamond D Ranch by @rich.davis.3

Atlanta had alot of highs and lows. Not only was the course constant hills but it was extremely mentally challenging.

Saturday was my first beast and it kicked my ass. The course made me feel like I was out of shape and unprepared. My hands were so cold I couldn't open zip lock bags for food or tie my shoe with over a mile left in the race. The course wasn't marked the best and for about 2 miles I thought I was lost. But managed to keep my streak going and pull out a 4th. Again. 🙄

Sundays Super/(Beast) wasn't any better. I started the race in 3rd and was looking like I had my first podium in reach with only a few miles left. I kept my pace and kept pushing only to find out I went off course and missed 2 obstacles and a timing mat. My leg was in pain, I was cold and exhausted. I was crushed. I tried to double back passing @trassishere going the wrong direction 😂 to make up for it. But by that time my chances were gone. When I got back on course it just so happened to be right with @alanarobinson_ which was pretty cool getting to finish a race with a teammate and watch her and @savannahmbrown23 battle it out right on the course.

Brutal weekend but we got tougher and made some great memories.

Race #2 in the books. Mixed emotions about this one. My overall ranking and times improved but still hunting for that podium. Took 4th/12 in the Super and 7th/33 in the Sprint. Ready to give it another shot in Atlanta in 2 weeks! by @rich.davis.3
