I’m excited to officially announce my verbal commitment to run cross country and track and field at Liberty University!

Most importantly, thank you Lord for giving me the gift of running, I pray that I will always use it to glorify you.

I am extremely grateful for my coaches, @semaj_10 , @shawnyoungruns, Coach Cook, and @paulstafford27 . Your leadership, guidance, and encouragement have made me a better man and runner. Thank you for everything!

I am also thankful for my mom and dad, family, teammates, and friends thank you for showing up. Your support and love for me have helped shape me into who I am today.

Running at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine for many years and I’m am very thankful that I get to do that. Thank you to @isaacwendland for giving me the opportunity to join the Liberty family.

SCHOOL RECORD ALERT x2 🚨

Clovis Invitational delivered a historic day for San Clemente XC!

🚨Our varsity girls finished 4th place in the Varsity Girls Championship 5K and 3rd among California teams against nationally ranked competition, running a new school record team time of 1:31:57 at Woodward Park. The previous record was set at last year’s State Meet.

🚨Mia Kim also broke the long standing Woodward Park course record held by Alex Dunne since 2008, running 17:31. 🔥Maddyn Ortiz ran 18:00.6, a #5 all time on this course.

This team continues to push what’s possible. A huge day for San Clemente XC!
