Orange County Championships 2026

This past weekend our varsity team raced in the OCC sweepstakes race. While conditions were not ideal, our athletes prevailed and placed 7th in the merged results. With a 1:18:12 team time and a 31 second gap, this is the second fastest course team time in school history set by a team of six juniors and a senior. Huge step-up performances occurred and four PRs were set in this race alone.

A lot of the Athletes were moved up to JV and Varsity! The Varsity team went to the Bell Gardens Invitation on Saturday morning. Our girls took home another 1st place team result! Our boys' team came in fourth. A great week for the whole team! The next race is this Thursday for the final cluster meet of the season. Go Taft!

Their standout performances led the way for our Oilers, with our Freshman Boys stepping up to take 3rd in their race! We are proud of everyone who competed today and look forward to two solid weeks of work heading into Sunset League Finals on Halloweeen!
