I'm human enough to admit I could frequently be more kind but realistic enough to know that if we try to be more kind we can make the world a better place. taken in Wolf Lake, Sullivan County by @richie_engineer

I have thousands of hours riding in the dark, here's my light solution:

1. Solid dynamo lights front and rear, you can't forget to charge them. My setup is from @sonnabendynamo
2. Rear radar. I really like the @wahoofitnessofficial TRACKR Radar - it's a significantly better light than the competitors. If you want to mount a radar on a saddlebag, use the clip from @kom_cycling
3. Helmet with integrated lights. I use the Aura from @unit1gear and it's awesome.
All of the lights were purchased retail.

Keeping your feet dry and clean on the bike:
1. Fenders. Most effective by far.
2. Waterproof socks or shoes. I use waterproof socks by @showerspass most of the year and waterproof winter boots from @lakecycling. If you can make sure you've got room in your shoes for a little extra sock thickness.
3. Shoe covers only to keep your shoes clean. It's helpful but long term they won't keep your feet dry. Buy whatever is on sale. taken in New York, New York by @richie_engineer
