When Uncle Erik (@arakawasurfboards ) opens a zoom live shaping session for team rider @haymansurf and the boss @sarahmilkweed representing Vision Boarding from the north shore it goes down in my books as a very special day.
As always a special thanks to Erik’s right hand in Europe @romeu_goingholistic at @blueroom_surfhub for connecting people 🫶🏻.
Tom ended up with his very own version of the Animal that Eric completely tweaked out with focus on a deep single into a double concave, extended nose rocker and extra volume to perfectly suit Toms size, style of surfing and the waves he was looking to use it in. Tom already has a Andy Irons Bandit as his daily driver but wanted something for those bigger winter days when the waves demand more.

All good things come to a end.
But it’s time to chasing new swells. The last 6 + years have been full of highs and lows but at the end of the day it’s all been worth it and to have the courage to chase a dream and dare to try something that you love. Thank you to everyone that has joined me on my journey and chose to support my shop and most of all chose to support local. Meeting everyone has taught me so much and the conversations had have been incredibly rewarding. So with all that said and with a heavy heart, thank you and much love to you all 🫶🏻🤙

Now it’s time for a new chapter in life to start and more dreams to chase with @arakawasurfboards @blueroom_surfhub .
